Love this bro, you are an amazing player, would love to meet with you and just talk away for hours, ironically enough I just got engaged last year in November. Been making a whole lot of new stuff lately myself and I've been trying to make something completely custom, looking for beat makers or even yourself to colab on an album I'm working on right now. Hope to maybe hear back from you, but Ive been thinking of putting you into one of my songs for a long time, would be hella cool to make something interesting with you

id say "knockin on heaven's door" is a great song to cover live. whether you want the slower, more acoustic version like bob dylan's original, or the heavier, louder, more raunchy sound like GNR added, it has its fast and slow moments and allows for both great guitar solos and crowd interaction.

+1 for "Zombie". I was ina hard rock origjnal (mostly) band that did this with a guy singer. One night, we started off proper, but for some reason, without discussing it, all went heavy metal pissed on it. The lead guitarist his the distortion a bit heavier, the drummer abused his set, I dug in a bit more, and the singer got truly pissed on the chorus, the right back to standard on the verse... The audience went apeshit... If done well,you can't miss
@DanielBobke3 ай бұрын
I always find it interesting that the songs that really connect - even with a crowd that is maybe 35 years old or less on average - are as old or older than the crowd is. And the fact that "Zombie" is about the strife in Ireland, it doesn't at first glance make for a song everyone wants to scream out in a party atmosphere. Most of that audience wasn't born when that song was released! Along with Freebird, it just shows that the better songs are of a certain age 😉
