Wode Maya thank you for these videos. I am Jamaican by birth and I’ve lived in the USA most of my life. While I consider myself more knowledgeable than most, how little I know of Africa is being exposed in you videos and Dr. Mumbi. This video of Togo is outstanding. Togo is beautiful with beautiful people. Your cohost - I could not get her name - along with being attractive, she was outstanding, please relay my complements. I will not tell you my view of Togo prior to your video as it was negatively distorted by western propaganda. .In Jamaica we eat a lot of soups and Saturdays are soap days. From watching this video and others you have done, I am now discovering Jamaicans love of soups go back to Africa as all your soups look like ours and I can taste each one you and your host put in your mouth. I would add please throw in your next soup some Jamaican dumplings, flour or cornmeal and you will thank me. I cannot thank you enough for your videos and especially this one.

Yam fufu is more prominent in volta north and the three northern regions of Ghana. I think wada maya should explore more regions of Ghana if not all. Please hit like barton if agree with me!! Wode Maya, I believe your statement about Fufu being Cassava and plantain in Ghana is largely inaccurate. The reason being that, people from the bono regions and the north mostly enjoy Yam fufu and not plantain at all. Ofcourse Akan speaking areas enjoy plantain but this crop doesnt grow everywhere, thankyou Ayam maya

Terry Oppong yeah exactly. Even Ewes too. But plantain and cassava is more popular because there are lot more Akans ( who mostly eat fufu with plantain and cassava) than any other tribe

Wode Maya, Ghanaians , Togolese are blood relatives, so their food is very similar. I must say, though, being an African American living in Togo, I am biased. Togolese cooks have been reputed as the best cooks in West Africa.

Notice how Wode Maya encourages everyone to either create a KZbin channel or he promote their existing channel. This is a stellar example of an African who wants the African-story-by-Africans, as many Africans as he can reach. I'm so proud of Wode Maya.
