@@innercityunit2112 no it’s fine. Of course it’s fine. digital has to be edited. people say that they like to keep their digital images natural / digital is very unnatural :) it’s horrid. I work with Lightroom on the street images. usually around 30 second an image. with my own presets as a base. Portraits I work in photoshop with layers and gradient filters and luminosity masks. Dodging and burning. Around 30-45 mins a portrait. I do have a design background. It is ironic though I can edit an entire event of 400 images in 2 hours but portraits which I mean I spend more time on. Like I said around 40 mins. A client portrait I’ll spend less around 15 mins.

@@LASHMAR Thanks, much appreciated. The post-editing work certainly pays off, with wonderful images that the viewer can identify as being by Lashmar. Like a photographic DNA. Well I can see they have your unique stamp, so I presume others can too. I think your shots show a connection with the subjects, and to be able to do this and also see some of the intent within, and behind the shot, is no mean feat and not too many can pull that off with such aplomb. Keep up the good work mate. Cheers.

I've been watching your videos for a few months now and I must say I really admire your work (yes I have subscribed). One quick question. Do people ever ask you for money when taking their photos? If yes, how do you handle these requests? Cheers and thanks.

Hey thank you for your kind comments. Sometimes. If it’s someone who is challenged, on hard times I’ll do it 💯. It’s a collaboration at the end of the day. if it’s anyone else then no. not at all. I’m a portrait photographer for a living people pay me 😂
