what if you have the wire cage over your light. is there still enough room for the hinge to work? some states require you to have a tag light and third break light. unless im missing something this is missing both . I know there are third party solutions but that adds to the cost

bob rowe yeah, Motobilt also have a 3rd Brake light but I didnt install it, Im planning to do another video because this light can also work not only with the motobilt Tire carrier, this light can also work with your Original Tire carrier in case you deside to give it another look

the major part of the question was about the tail light guards and the bumper fitting together this may be hard for you to answer because you do not have them for those of use that do it did not look like their was space there

IcedZealot basically you can destroy your factory Hinges with so much weigh plus the Tailgate door will not close propertly with that much weight
