Ha ha. No problem. A problem would be sleeping 15 hours a day. I sleep the normal 8 or 9 hours. I just do it at a different time. I love the night. Always have

@EagerExpat I'm looking to move by October looking to stay around Bangkok, I live south Boston, and they just keep taxing us to death every year. Last year, my property tax had 7.6% increase every year it goes up by 2 or 3%, but never this high. Massachusetts is now the 3rd most expensive state, very sad🤟

Have been following you since quite some time now. You upload great content and pretty informative . I would like your advice , I ll be visiting Bangkok for a conference end of May I had a few spare days in hand , should I visit Pattaya for three days or so just for golfing . I am not into the scenes what Pattaya is famous for , but I do prefer a good massage . I would also like to appreciate the way you are respectful to people who don’t want to be filmed. Hey, thanks for watching. I'm not a golfer, but I know they have some nice country clubs around Bangkok. Pattaya is a party city. If that's not your thing, it's like staying on the Vegas strip and not drinking or gambling. Again, I'm no expert. I'd try and tee off early. At 6am, it's 80 degrees. At 9am, it can be a 100. I'm not sure, but I think they have lights at many clubs. You could always jump on a 1 hour flight to Koh Samui or Phuket. I know they have an LPG event on Phuket. It looks like Pebble Beach. Sorry I couldn't help. But I'd avoid Pattaya. There are some great courses, but it's still a party from what I'm told. Have a great trip

When I saw Stella's Instagram part of the video and saw the name Parinda, I realized I met het back in 2008. She looked familiar to me in your other clips but didn't make the connection until I watched this video. Good to know she is doing well. Next time I'm in BKK I will definitely pop into the bar. @@EagerExpat Yeah, I don't know or remember if it was pre or post college. I have a pic of myself, Parinda and her friends at a restaurant in Bang Na where I believe she lived at that time. I had to take a cab from On Nut (last station for BTS at that time) to Bang Na to meet her. Ahh the memories, thanks to your channel!

That sounds like a great trip. Get ahold of Alisa early into the trip. She can set you up with a game plan. Maybe withing a few square miles. Show you a few night markets, sample some great food and enjoy some local bars. Ask her what area of town to stay. No sense being 5 miles away. Then you can go back on your own

Ha ha, I hear ya. I've learned Bangkok from years of just walking around. It would have been nice to arrange a private custom tour of, spots for music, etc.. I made my way to the major sites. But, the local knowledge takes awhile to piece together

what's the smoking policy over there, can you smoke cigars in the bar rooms?

I think the official rule is no smoking. That being said, it's up to the bar. I see vaping everywhere. Cigars and smokes outside. There are Japanese cigar bars on Soi 55. Stand by to pay top dollar for drinks. Many bars have signs saying no weed on the patio.

@@bijanbayne3259 I hear ya. I'm not a fan of smoking inside. Pattaya and Jomtien seem to push the smoking rules a little more. There's just too much competition to get you in a bar over there. In Bangkok, smoke outside or they just ask you to leave. Or if it's a smoking bar, I just go someplace else. It's all good
