INFORMATION:
The Transformers is an American animated television series that originally aired from September 17, 1984, to November 11, 1987, in syndication based upon Hasbro's Transformers toy line. The first television series in the Transformers franchise, it depicts a war among giant robots that can transform into vehicles and other objects.
The series was produced by Marvel Productions and Sunbow Productions in association with Japanese studio Toei Animation for first-run syndication. Toei co-produced the show and was the main animation studio for the first two seasons. In the third season, Toei's involvement with the production team was reduced and the animation services were shared with the South Korean studio AKOM. The show's supervising producer (Nelson Shin) was also AKOM's founder. The fourth season was entirely animated by AKOM. The series was supplemented by a feature film, The Transformers: The Movie (1986), taking place between the second and third seasons.

Honestly, My favorite ep gotta be the Search of Alpha Trion, I really liked Elita-one and Optimus's relationship and Chormia and Ironhide's relationship and loved the female transformer G1 designs and their interactions, Also Shockwave is the best girl in that ep.

"Sea Change" is probably my favorite episode. As silly as that magical transmogrification pool is, I love that the episode deals with a heavy existential theme. Seaspray is willing to DIE in order to find out if he has a soul or not. That's dark stuff.

it's all the funnier given than yes, starscream IS lying, but he'd rather be called stupid than be suspected of being complicit in whatever the Triple Changers did. Plausible deniability i guess lol. Although he was probably kicking himself for being stupid for trusting the Triple Changers in the first place.

The Secret of Omega Supreme is my favorite episode of the series. I like the idea of Omega Supreme and the Constructicons being friends before Megatron took control of the Constructicons and Crystal City looked amazing for that time.

Peter Cullen pretty much sums up my feelings about the movies at 3:25 ...I don't need to hear Optimus Prime saying that $#!π (he's a soldier, but he's no war-mongering murderer). It took me several months to finish AOE because I just got fed up hearing OP smash out of the barn yelling "I'll kill you, I'll kill you!" ...bah. And to this day I haven't finished TLK, nor do I intend to.

My three favourite episodes are Web World, Triple Takeover and Heavy Metal War. Web World is great and really resonated with me, for pretty much the exact reasons Vangelus stated. Triple Takeover is just chaos, and endlessly iconic with all its memorable scenes. (It also helps that Triple Changers are my favourite type of Transformer) Heavy Metal War just really stuck out to me, and I'm not entirely sure why. Maybe it's because I just like the atmosphere of Optimus and Megatron fighting 1-on-1 while their armies watch.

I still want to interpret the ending of Hoist Goes Hollywood as Hoist pulling a Bugs Bunny by threatening to do exactly what the Decepticons want and it kind of works. Speaking as someone who actually did see these the day they first aired (I was six when More Than Meets The Eye part one aired), I can confirm that Return was too little too late for most of us. And it took me years to realize the voice of Cyclonus and Unicron was the guy who played Harry Mudd in the original Star Trek.

Ultimate Doom and Countdown to Extinction are really under rated and my top episodes. Megatrons Master Plan is pretty good too. Nice seeing human government/military actually getting involved. Starscreams Brigade and Revenge of Bruticus. Headmasters. Fire in the Sky. The first three pilot episodes.

Two episodes of the TF sticks in my head, one was “Starscream’s Brigade”. I liked how Bruticus easily beats Devestator and Starscream almost becomes the Decepticon’s new leader until the Stunticons intervened. The second episode; “Masquerade” where the Autobots captured and disguised themselves as the Stunticons. When I first saw this episode I thought the jig was up after the Menasor broke free and informed Megatron that those were fake Stunticons. When the fake stunticons formed Menasor, thanks to Windcharger’a magnetic field and Mirage’s projection, my bottom jaw fell to the ground.

I watch G1 episodes virtually every day, and then BW or any other series that I fancy. I watch the movie regularly as well. Probably 3-4 episodes of Transformers a day on average. Season 3 is the best overall. I think my favourite may be Dark Awakening or Heavy Metal War.

I never actually saw the first half of Triple Takeover (and thus didn't even know what the episode was CALLED) until the G2 rehash of the episodes in 1992/93. A series of circumstances in the original run/reruns somehow made it so I only got to it _at the earliest_ by around the time just before Astrotrain couldn't lead rats to a garbage can. As such I was VERY confused as to why Megatron and Starscream were frozen, and Ironhide's line "We shoulda taken care of those two when we had the chance" hinted at something that didn't even pay off when I saw the whole thing finally, which just confused me more.

oddly enough, Jack Angel, who took over as Cyclonus after Harry Mudd's passing, said that Roger "stuffed too much [nose candy] up his nose and died". Roger's Unicron voice is basically just his Bruticus voice.

one episode is drilled into my mind and into my core. the final EP aird in my childhood one I recorded in VCR tape (How many people wont know what that is XD) and wore out the tape until it showed tones of brown and streaks the one made me really fall in love with optimus as a leader as a charcter "Prime Target" and for the longest time until I rewatched it recently thought the bad guy was Joseph Stalin XD

The story of Raul and Tracks seemingly was used in TF: RISE OF THE BEASTS considering that 1. Raul is obviously Hispanic. 2. Noah like Raul steal but aren't bad people and were forced to do so. 3. Both Noah and Raul become friends with an Autobot that cares for his looks. 4. The ROTBs initiated in NYC. In ROTBs I was wondering why the story was a bit familiar at first, so I liked it until the Michael Bay stain on the film got visible with his meddling behind the camera, and the bleh soundtrack. It hurt because the BUMBLEBEE movie was really good as a reboot and this following it was great, till of course it got Bayified.

I like the bayverse design but some of them and I heard that they were originally going to add the G1 live action but Michael Bay thought having G1 in live action form will look stupid and ridiculous. And I heard the fans were very mad about this. And because Michael Bay wants the bayverse design to be more grounded style. But I respect your guys opinion that it’s okay to love the bayverse design I respect.

Not not everything needs to be G1 but bay didn’t want anyone recognisable he wanted to essentially scrap the entire cast and it took a lot of effort to even get Optimus in a recognisable state Also the decepticons needed actual colour hell soundwave was the most disappointing becatse his alt mod has 2 base colours the grey from the film and the more iconic blue Also I would like to add that I think the bayverse designs had too much detail abd took away from the designs that could have been good

@@jmurray1110 blatantly wrong. Optimus, bumblebee, shockwave, ravage, laserbeak, etc. Are all instantly recognisable and resemble G1 but better. He gave each character detailed and believable desigins that actually were made from their vehicle parts and looked like they could transform

I think Ravage was supposed to be fighting a Jaguar or an Ocelot (funny in the first instance cuz Ravage is a jaguar) in Microbots. Probably an ocelot though, jaguars are much chunkier and with shorter tails, and they can actually roar. Dubbed in puma snarls don't cut it.

The first line the Transformers came out and I have not been giving them much good answers And people keep posting about Happy Anniversary into Transformers And there's only one date in particular that I know and the only information I know about of is release date September 17th of 1984 That is the only information of wind Transformers came out, I know of If anyone who's got any more information about when they came out, let me know

Geez! This review of 20 Transformers episodes was too pedantic. Maybe this review would be better if it had not used clips from Michael Bay's movies in a video presentation mainly about G1 Transformers cartoons. On top of that, this video's author sorted out G1 episodes to purposely drive the video monologue back into Michael Bay movies, like G1 episode Hoist Goes to Hollywood. In my opinion, Hoist Goes to Hollywood was not a good G1 episode worth mentioning. Also, it is strange to see all humans showcased in this top-20-list treated as the Bulk and Skulk of Power Rangers. By contrast, I would replace Hoist Goes to Hollywood with G1 Transformers episode Prime Target. Prime Target introduced a human character named Lord Chumley, who successfully targeted and captured both Decepticon and Autobot factions but failed with Optimus Prime. Chumley's ability to the "kick asses" of Transformers was so impressive that he had Decepticons inviting him to join their team as a human ally. However, Prime Target had structural issues. For example, in one scene of Prime Target, a pair of giant human hands grabs autobot Blaster with no explanation for the it's existence. The last note worthy mention about Prime Target is the Hasbro easter-egg/crossover characters that "popped-up" in this episode like Hector Ramirez plus the Oktober Guard member, and I wonder if Hector Ramirez or the Oktober Guard will be in future plans of Hasbro. Since I'm tired of this video's constant disrespect for humans (regarding the mocking of Spike being "in the way" of Wheel-Jack), I'll suggest entry G1 Transformers episode Immobilizer should be replaced with Autobot Spike. Episode Autobot Spike didn't raise the "positive grade" of humans in Transformers, but it did put the audience directly in the bodies of Transformers by causing some to think about what it would be like to live as a bot. Also, episode Autobot Spike does ask the question about whether or not being permanently a bot is a good thing, especially if it results in the lost of one's sexuality. Spike probably went crazy after realizing that being stuck as a bot also means he'll never end his virginity. The episode with Carly and Star-Scream's Ghost were okay mentions and I would not change them; also, I agree about Daniel Witwicky's annoying personality. Nightbird was great suggestion, and it was a shame that she never had a second G1 Transformers appearance. Rumors suggests Nightbird was in the recent live action movie Transformers: Rise of the Beast. The Dinobot mention was alright, and it was a shame they nor the Insecticons never received combiner modes during Transformers G1 cartoons. I have no opinions on the episodes involving Hound because he never seemed to be an interesting character, but it was interesting to learn about the many changes made to his Hasbro toyline. I loved all episodes with Bruticus but was puzzled with the loss he received from Menasor. The G1 episode revolving on Galvatron's sanity seemed too pedantic. The Search for Alpha Trion episode was okay, but it still puzzles me that the fem-bots of this episode never get seen again until Combiner Wars. Episode Fire in the Sky was alright. However, I never understood the need for Sky-Fire, given his alt-mode was used by another company. I also remember an episode showcasing the Combaticons which was cool! The final entry episode, titled The Golden Lagoon was alright, and I had no issues with it. Lastly, for those episodes I had issues with but didn't provide alternatives, I would first recommend G1 episode Dinobot Island One through Two, A Decepticon Raider in King Arthur's Court, Sea Change, Masquerade, Cosmic Rust, Grimlock's New Brain, Money is Everything, Call of Primitives, and there is another G1 episode I enjoy but I'm not mentioning it.
