I just think that the natural, ASMR in the wild if you please, voices and experiences are the best. When I was a kid, there was this student teacher type visitor that was working with our school psych. She was there for one day and I was lucky enough to be one that she pulled out of class that day to practice with… This woman spoke for maybe fifteen minutes and I swear to you, as soon as she opened her mouth I was in HEAVEN. I could hardly answer her questions because I was just experiencing so much pleasure from ASMR. I’ve never been able to achieve that level again but my God, it was glorious. Life changing, just in a few minutes. That’s why I love these unintentional ones because that’s exactly what they are; authentic. Not forced, not fake, not for likes… just authentic.

This is what I've been searching for over forty years. I originally experienced ASMR brain tingles when I worked as a transcriber for an insurance company. I was transcribing a cassette of a recorded statement by a woman I worked with. I was immediately transfixed by the tone of her voice - it was the most soothing and calming sound I had ever heard. I've searched hundreds of ASMR channels and was never able to find anything similar - it was all too overdone - and frankly annoying. But this interview is the closest I've come to the perfect tone that started me on my journey. Thank you so much ❤

I've been dealing with a mood disorder and anxiety for years, but it's only recently that I was introduced to mindfulness and meditation. And even then, it's taken years to further dig into the "why" of my depression, past the chemical imbalance and hormonal issues I have. A lot of it was about a deep sense of loneliness, lacking connection with family, friends, the earth, nature, and ultimately myself. Finally meeting people like me who I learned to love and trust implicitly helped me get further in touch with myself, and see how we are all reflections of each other. And similar to what this guy is saying, one of the hardest but most rewarding aspects of the journey is acknowledging fears, tracing them to their root cause, and finding a way to be at peace with them. So not only is this video calming, but it's a great perspective to have.

I wish interviews were like this now days. Now it's loud, interviewers are egoistic/unprepared/self-centered and we learn pretty much nothing about the person being interviewed. Most of the time, the interviewer talks more than the people themselves. Interviews used to be informative/educative and now it's purely about comparing the egos (hats off to exceptions). I'm in love with this interview, I've learned a lot and I've thought about it. It's authentic and NATURAL. I like it when people are actually able to talk about certain topic for a longer time. I do realize this was posted 3 years ago, but thank you for posting it anyways. Have a blessed day

Good lord... you're description of these videos is SPOT ON. I'm sure you heard of John Butler. The voice will put you in another dimension. The substance is not to be taken seriously. These people are deep thinkers, who've fallen into a rabbit hole of whimsical, repetitive gibberish. This guy is unique, in that he attacks a thought, at every conceivable angle. He'll describe the most trivial feeling, with another trivial feeling. Rinse, and repeat. I kinda feel sorry for these types of guys, because they are usually failures in life, whose feelings have dominated, and ultimately destroyed their aspirations. Basically, they've been afraid of everything, all their lives, and have tried to justify their failures by recanting endless tales of their unknown, magical, invisible psychic dynamic.
@Seemsayin Жыл бұрын
@@loadishstone It's just my opinion. Nothing more... not to be taken seriously. Don't get me wrong... neither of these guys would hurt a fly. They are very good-natured. They make for great story-telling. Of course... both can put you in a coma. Both are imaginative talkers. And both use dramatic, magical-sounding terms, believing that they can, or have connected (physically and/or mentally) with virtually anything. In essence... they believe they can think their way into whatever dimension/reality they want. It just LOOKS like the behavior of anyone on some good drugs. That's how it LOOKS. To me... both sound as though they've fallen into a rabbit hole of drug-induced elusion of how they want things to be, describing things that only THEY could understand, or have experienced or have seen. They see things in a VERY metaphoric way. In their world... you'll always be a follower, because they've seen the light, and it will take years of meditation to understand their gibberish. There is little-to-no facts or logic in their musings. And people like that have always been overly-sensitive mamma's boys, serious dreamers, prone to following their feelings, rather than a typical male survival lifestyle. I don't hate these guys. I don't wish anything bad on them. As long as they're happy... my opinion means nothing. It's just an observation.

I have to agree with some of yous. In the ASMR community, these so called asmrtists have gone a little off the rails with tingles, certain triggers, and these role plays. Unintentional ASMR just happens to more relaxing for me. Rather, less awkward. Dont get me wrong. Lollyds Asmr, Tirar, Muzz and Rift can knock me out like Benadryl. But so many of these dudes and gals go too far with Asmr. Unintentional is the way to go for me.

Hi Tony, I have experienced it since a young age too - pre internet days. It was only a few years back when I was curious what it was I was experiencing, I googled it and found there were many other lucky people in the world who enjoy the feeling and it had been given a name. I don't get it from deliberate attempts by various channels on youtube. It's videos like this where there was no intention of it. I also get it in real life, for example sitting in a quiet waiting room and someone turns the pages of a book or a magazine. It basically happens when I'm feeling peaceful and relaxed in the first place and then certain sounds almost tickle my nerve endings. It's an involuntary response for me, just wish I had the feeling on tap! Hope you start to feel it again one day soon!

❤❤ Neighbors , recalled he was a gentle man , softly spoken , who attracted listeners around the globe. Some still say it was the jealously of other ASMR artists. This is why , most unfortunately , to become an ASMRtist , background checks are mandatory , neighbors are interviewed , and the Federal Bureau of ASMR Regulators , is now a Cabinet Level Regulatory Commission. How we miss the ASMR of yester-year. 👍👍

I know what you mean. Interviews today are so often focused on the entertainment factor rather than the content of the conversation. I think it goes to show how we are truly so deep into a culture that amuses itself to death.
