@@DrLockShop, _i often hear discussions about copying keys (and Rfid-tags). But the main security of a lock is that the thief has no key. safes have the double bit key with no restrictions again copying. Or code locks, the code have to bee a secret, and need to changed if somebody knows this code. And so in my opinion is this the same with pinned cylinder lock or electronic chip locks. greetings

So will one of these work for new apartment blocks? For example the new building in Homebush boomerang is all fob keys. If I can get the roof access card.. can it copy it ?

Depends on the cards the system uses, if low security, then maybe - if high security encrypted - then no

I have the icopy8 tried to copy my apartment building tag it’s encrypted (doesn’t say do not copy tho) and using the read function ruined it, I was able to copy my spare tag by decoding it first then writing it, which worked, But the first tag I tried reads a number but does not work on the building access now for some reason, I think it must have wiped it by just using the read option, so be careful of that

_if You want copy a 125 kHz EM4100 chip than You need a T5577 writable chip .... there are lots of vids about copying these RFID or NFC chips ...._

A problem with ICopy 8 that it cannot write data on 125Khz writable Key Fob and ID Card. In this video you also did not demo it with 125Khz key fob.

Bought the first one and it cant read any encrypted or even some semi encrypted cards, my condo building is newish from 2012, wont read our cards but it would read my old Expedia work badge from 2010 (worthless) but just sayin, get a chameleon rdv2.0 or a proxymark3 or a ufr nano, can decode/decrypt any encrypted cards PM3, NFC122, PN532, icopy3/4/5, 300CD, etc.

Hi, I'm trying to copy my lift access so my flat mate can get inside without having to use the stairs! Says its a IC-A S50 13.56MHz encrypted How do i decode it? The software im using is NFC PM-ProEnV1.1 and it says decode failed every time Device is the 300CD_Rei Thanks

Not possible; they use MIFARE DESFire EV1. Same goes for VIC and SA. QLD/ACT uses MIFARE Classic, and are theoretically clonable. But, you run the risk of being fined for not being in possession of the original physical card or breaching other lesser-known T&Cs. TAS also use MIFARE Classic, though would be slightly harder to clone given the larger memory size. WA and NT? Not sure.
