I remember when my high school coach wanted to get us fit, we’d run 2 laps around the track and did shuttle runs turning back every 10 yards using the whole field 7 times and I absolutely hated it until I saw that it helped me in the game tremendously
@JorgeAceituno-vs3jt
@JorgeAceituno-vs3jt 10 ай бұрын
Nice! Same here . We would have to run 9 laps around the whole field .14 times up and down the bleachers . And finish it off wit a full lap around the field in squad position . Our team went 21 wins without loosing. Lost in the semi finals due to our top start players missing the workout routine the last two weeks of the season. It's amazing the difference when hit your workouts .

Vihan Garg 30sec 90-95%, 15sec rest/easy. 12times and this 3x with 2min rest inbetween. This is shown to be one of the most effective intervals. But this works also with 1min/30sec, 2min/1min whatever.

I am 12 and turning 13. Fighting for my dream to become a profersonal footballer player and Your videos helps me a lot. Thanks. Edit: I am 13 now and still training. The biggest problem is winter, in sweden we have snow non stop. Edit. I have made the Highest level in my club. I play with player who's bigger, stronger older, even doe the may be stronger I still think am doing good at Training. I have also worked on my fittnes the whole summer so am in really good shape now. But I don't want to stop there my next move is to go to Norrby in sweden. I still train and have improved so much this pasted months, but becuse of the corona I had to lower my training. Turning 14 soon. Edit: I am 14 years old now and I have a trail with a club called Norrby IF in sweden, the trail is on the 27 october. Edit: I think I made the team, they said I got a place in the squad. I Will know everything in a week. Edit: I made the team Edit: Being injured really sucks. I have been injured for 4 weeks now, I think I pulled or strained my upper hamstring region and now am struggling to run my max. I been also doing rehab for 2 weeks now and I have seen big changes and I think I need one more week and am able to train again. I Will continue my rehab for a bit longer so i can strengthen those hamstring even more. While I was i injured I started to work my upper body, my arms and chest has become bigger thanks to my own training in the gym and also the Will john 100 pushup workout I have been doing for four day Straight. Am also loking to get a stronger core whitch is a big thing in football. Edit 1/13-21 I think am at 95%, I can do hill running on a treadmill and I have also started to train again. It took a bit longer then i thought but I was patience to do my rehab a bit longer to get my hamstring back at full range of motion. I Will keep doing my rehab for longer just so I can prevent this injury to never ever heppen agian. And also Thanks you for so much support you have given me, gosh i love this community❤️ Edit: Update I have trained like I Used to and I have improve so much this past months. I have also booked a trail for the chance to representant my country and if I make it a have a more likely hood of beining scouted in the future. I have also some more info and I know now Who am goining to be playing against. I goining to be playing people one or two years older then me whitch is really good for me. I am goining to play also dvi 3 in Sweden whitch is really high for a player like me that came from div 7. I hope to see more improvment in the future and I also have lower my training volume to now have one restday were i dont do nothing intens. Its becuase i dont want to get injured before my trail and also the season is starting soon. 15 years old that have a dream to play pro one day. ❤️ Edit: Its have been more than an year sense I first started to write all this. I wanna keep it like an journal so that I can look back at my sacrifice and revisiting memoris I had. Its allmost summer now and I soon have summer break from school, Is allso the best time of the year to grind. Grind SZN. Happy late new year guys. I have trained a lot last year and my biggest goal for this year is to improve in every area. Not only in football but in life. If you want to keep up with me follow me on instagram : nikolaristic44 Edit: I put all my trainings etc on tiktok for those who wonder how I am doing up to date. TikTok: Nikolaristic0699

I have ruined my opportunity to become a pro, now im 30 and cannot go back to 16 or 17. Now i see football very differently, i mean i do everything wrong when im a teenager. I hope i have this perspective that time, and i can be a pro. If any teenagers read this, get a right coach, right mentor, etc.. and this channel is really good for ur way to become a pro.. peace

Great video👍🏽, so many people think you can just go out and get miles under your legs and it will help you to some extent but I was in xc last year and ran a sub 18 5k, then I got into soccer and still felt I could improve a ton on my stamina because I hadn’t been doing enough short, high intensity work
@juv69champions47
@juv69champions47 5 жыл бұрын
Lol how you really think soccer players have more stamina than XC. Ive gotten EASY miles in under my legs in 4months and ran a 5:30 mile. Just from easy mileage. Become elite said his mile was 6:40 lmao. Ok bud

Juv69 Champions What I’m saying is to have good soccer stamina you cant just do continuous long run you have to do more interval short runs because cross country and soccer fitness are so vastly different

@@Tyler.Douthitt you do know that cross country or the the running field invented intervals right? And the reason they dont do it now and instead do fartleks, strides is because intervals will break ur legs. Doctors would agree. Physicians would advise to not do intervals more than 2x a week. Youll break ur legs
@juv69champions47
@juv69champions47 5 жыл бұрын
@Chidubem Ejiofor you know that physicians say that intervals do more harm than good and eventually lead to injury guaranteed if you do it continuously right? Lmao Ur gk can run mid 4min mile. Lmao barely track kids who focus on stamina with 4years can do it low 4. Pls stay away from comments dumb kid

Thanks for the video, I used to play a lot of soccer when I was from 6 to 11 y/o in my home country: Nicaragua, I even made it into a team, I went to Guatemala for a tournament and I did pretty well, when I got in the USA on November 2019, winter was here so there was not season and in January and in Summer Covid came in, on quarantine, I got really fat and now that I am 13 y/o about to be 14 I decided to get back on the shape and so I can follow my dreams to become a pro soccer player and see if I can make into a team in this year. Thanks for the video, the schedule and the motivation.

Great Vid. Very important to NOT do these things on FIELD TURF! Hard on Knees and hips. When running or cutting the energy placed into the turf is compounded allowing higher yields in spring in the directions ur pushing. In other words its the opposite of Sand. U will get better results in a more obsorbing surface.. Sand , dirt, grass. I would also not recomment Practicing ball skills on Field turf. The bounce is not natural. Surface is too smooth and balls bounce unnaturally. You can play games on turf but dont practice on it. TRUST ME. Best results if u can find the surfaces to do agility sprints or HIT exercises. INCLINES OR SAND

I ride my bike to and from my weekly Futsal games. The bike ride to the games warms up the muscles so it's not like taking an elastic band out of the fridge, and the ride home is for the acid. In terms of progressive overload, the pressure on legs and mid section riding home is something I can notice. good video. I'll try my best to keep up with the 20 somethings out there.

I used to do theadmill and jumpropes and agility stuff. There wasn't any big spaces to run and do football specific cardio work in. Now that the gyms are open, I've started doing basic strength work... and threadmills after that. I was suffering lol.
