I had this disparity issue ... then I remembered I shot my video with my camera upside down and I remembered I saw this video once ... The switching left and right saved me! Thank you so much Hugh and keep up the good work! I'm closely following your work with the Canon dual fisheye lens. I'm thinking about switch from Nikon to Canon, just for this lens. 🙂

Thanks Hugh. At 6:00 when you use stereo disparity, it seems the image is not aligned, or is this normal? When I view it with anaglyph glasses it looks weird.

That is b/c of the field of view. Make it into 180 / 90 prob better. Also I should mention - the insert graphic should not be too big and bigger than 90 degree - I just wanted people easy to see what I am doing but forgot about that rule. It actually look okay on VR headset. So double down on reviewing. If in doubt - always put on your VR headset. Thanks Mic! Let me know if you need more help I can walk you tho.

If your photo is 3D already, you will want to comp them in with software like Resolve Fusion / Blackmagic Fusion. 3D Aware software. I mentioned how on my Davinci Resolve tutorial

No, you don't. The best way is to use Oculus rift - but it is very uncomfortable for me put it up and down as I wear glasses when editing.

This worked great when over black, but when I do the same thing over stereoscopic 360 video footage, the text is unreadable (due to going cross eyed, like the left and right eye are way too far apart). In preview and with 3d glasses, it looks fine. Stereo disparity set to 0.1 or thereabouts and it looks ok. But when I render it out, in the headset it's unreadable. Have you had this happen before and do you know how to fix? Thanks!

Thanks for your tips. One Question: If you have a professional 360 3D 8K camera and the EVO - is it possible to make a 360 3D 5.7k picture in a empty room with the professional camera and a 180 3D 5.7K concert video with the EVO and put them together in adobe premiere, as it looks like a 360 3D 5.7K concert video without any listeners? So you don't have to ask everyone in the room for permissions and you don't see any equipment in the video.

Not sure why you will do that but yes you can. Just feather the edge of the 180 so it fit your 360 nicely using mask feather and mask expansion. Let me know if you want a tutorial on that. I mix in VR180 in VR360 all the time.

Object tracking I use mocha or canvas 360 - for VR180 Mocha Pro prob the best.

I can’t wait for the next video about canvas plugin for stereoscopic videos! I actually own the normal version for monoscopic and I’m planning to buy the STK version. Will you make a tutorial of it only for 180 degrees videos or for 360 3D video too? Another thing that could be a very useful tutorial is a workflow about masking in 360 2D and especially 3D videos :)

Can you cut between 360 footage and 2d footage.. like.. give viewers the ability to move around then.. cut to another video where they cannot scroll around ...i guess .. I can have a 3602 video then cut to another 3602 edit.. in a black room that only has.. my one video... so that they foucs on what im trying to show..

Love your videos..You are so informative and entertaining....so I just bought the Vuze xr and have been researching software for 180vr...I am not wanting to pay for software for a monthly fee ..so can you recommend any cheap or free software for text in 180vr or transitions ? I know davinci resolve which is free can handle all of my shots in 360 but I cannot find anything free or cheap to edit the 180 vr video or pictures....Please help me fine sir and keep up the awesome videos your the man bro!!

So far only Adobe I know can handle VR180 - I think Insta36 or Vuze should come out their own editing software - but so far I did not find anything just yet. I do know Vuze and maybe I will hit them up again - they want to make the software and I think if they do, they can really get the market.
