Its so amazing how God answers prayers! Coming into the new year, I told God that I wanted to find new and better ways to learn about Him and become more intimate with Him.... And since the new year, He has been consistently leading me to videos or web pages to (re)teach me how to study the Word effectively. This was a very important piece of information I needed to include on that journey... Including the Holy Spirit to teach me Himself. Thanks for the video beautiful! These tips are so awesome and I'm glad that you did a video on this subject. I also pray for understanding of the word when reading my bible each day, but sometimes its usually when I've already started reading and I'm puzzled about what I've just read. Thank you so much for making this video. I've gone to a christian camp for 4 summers and this year was the one that really inspired me to bring God back with me instead of leaving him at camp. I had the counselor I had this year 2 years ago aswell, and I started the unit where you get to go on a 3 day backpack. I think that was my turning point. Backpacking in Yosemite really helped me see God's creation and just how awesome he is. I want to start reading the bible, and as I watched this video I got this overwhelming sense of happiness. Thank you so much! Update: I have this book called The Bible in 366 Days for Girls and right after typing this I went to the November 4th page and it talked about God's masterpiece. He truly does work in mysterious ways!

Love your videos! I just wanted to add a good scripture to read also before you study .The Ephesians pray 15:23 focus on 18,19 ask for the eyes of your understanding to be enlightening. I prayed this pray every day and all of a sudden the word just became clear.

I'm glad you mentioned to ask the holy spirit. I pray and ask God to help me understand and see what he wants me to see in his word. I did notice that when I was reading the Bible I was not understanding what I was reading! I have several Bibles. It's good to have a study, hebrew, King james etc. I am not religious but I want to know Gods word. Great video!
