Showering with filtered water will remove most contaminants that might be aggressive or damaging to your hair and skin, preserving natural oils and allowing for a more natural and smoother hair. Hope this helps, I'm constantly trying new methods, but as you said not following some of the trends.

Valid points. I' m a headwrap lover since years. My routine is very simple (wash, deep condition,style every 2 weeks). You can also add (and I know it can be difficult) stop focusing on you hair. Wash and style them with respect, love and godd vibes, like when you take care of your plants. 😊💓

Hello PL GP! Yes headwraps and mini twists are my go to. I speak about not doing your hair when you are mad or stressed and being grateful and finding beauty in the hair that you already have a lot and I don't think people realize how important those points are. Thank you so much for watching !

Over here in United Kingdom in the built up areas, the water is very hard, I use a water filter on the shower head and tend to wash my hair in like warm water to try and keep the hair healthy, great tips 👍
@KlassicallyKept2 жыл бұрын
Hey Joanne! Thank you I have actually thought about getting a filter for our shower for my hair and hubbys skin. Can you tell a difference?
@mrod872 жыл бұрын
you could do an apple cider vinegar rinse at the end of your wash (spray bottled water and ACV in a spray bottle)...then a final rinse with bottled water...that will get the minerals out ur hair. the other option is to swap our your shower head for a filter to take the minerals out of your water.

Cyn Doll explained that when the hair is neglected, yeast starts to grow. And that is why they see an improvement when using Monistat.
@mrod872 жыл бұрын
i watched a bunch of her videos recently. i think she is someone who can tell you how to get the scalp healthy bc she has scalp issues that she has successfully resolved...but i dont know if i would say she knows what she is doing as far as hair growth, she has been posting videos for years and her hair has mostly been in the same spot. When she styles other hair I dont see any noteworthy hair growth in her regular clients. I highly recommend taking advice from people who have successfully achieved goals you are looking to achieve. Monistat is a treatment for an acute issue, its not meant to be used long term.
@KlassicallyKept2 жыл бұрын
Hello Ally. I have not seen any of Cyn Doll’s videos. As I said in the video I am saying be careful with trends. I knew why people were using it on their scalps but we need to be using products as they are recommended. Also there may be an ingredient in the monistat that someone could be allergic to. I am not discrediting, I am saying be careful
@KlassicallyKept2 жыл бұрын
@@mrod87 Hello Michelle ! Thank you for your insight. You mention some very valid points. I am not discrediting Cyn Doll or anyone else who used the monistat method , I am simply saying be careful with trends, especially ones that pop up and are a little unconventional

One 'trend' I seen that stuck with me so much because it horrified me was someone sort of scraping their hair strands with a knife or blade of some kind. No idea why or how or what because I couldn't watch for more than 2 seconds 😭

How often do you put water in your hair? I've read that it can be done daily...but my stylist thinks it's bad for your hair...?
@mjgarner1232 жыл бұрын
Hi Mya! Good video and good length retention tips. Listening to our hair is tantamount to knowing what products to use, when to moisturize, trim or dust. I never thought about following trends can lead to stalls in retention however I can see that is true. I love your protective style (twists) and although it takes a while to complete most people I know styling in twists have retained a lot of length. Thanks for sharing!
@KlassicallyKept2 жыл бұрын
Good morning MJ. Listening to your hair is very important and I am sill learning to listen; for example still trying new products since I fund out I have low porosity hair. Nothing wrong with following trendy hairstyles , I just try to be careful with the ones that I try, which here recently have been none lol, but who knows maybe one will come along that I will try. Yes mini twists take a very long time but you know I swear by them. As always MJ thank you so much for your support !
