Listen! Y'all!!!! Trust her on that hard water tip! When I got a filter on my shower head, my hair texture completely changed! It holds moisture soooo much better and no longer feels like hay. This increase in moisture retention has even made my hair more manageable and helps my hair hold wash and go styles longer.

Mya, first of all I love your top. Elegant and Classy. I understand and agree about the work situation. Why in the world would the guy respond to your email as if he was your supervisor. I wonder did he forward your other correspondence to your actual Supervisor. Regarding your topic, the reasons for hair dryness are definitely on point. For myself, I used to wear the nylon skull caps as sleep caps. When I realized that I was wetting my hair too often, I changed to satin bonnets and scarves which was a total game changer. Love H2O, a good clarifying shampoo, deep conditioning per instructions, and with a good shower filter you can tell the difference!!! Thanks for sharing.

Hey MJ! I found out he did not forward my requests to my actual manger, so I looked in my claims and emails to re-send the requests to my actual manager. Unfortunately the communication with my new manager has been no better. Yes for me too! When I first went natural I would tie my hair up with anything and quickly learned about satin bonnets and scarves.

That work situation is just a major communication issue. It is refreshing to hear someone share that products have a purpose, but know the HOW TO in using them, and products with Sulphur is one such thing. All the tips are on point for dry hair.

For people trying bentonite clay in your hair: Be careful to rinse your entire body and especially every hair b/c the clay hardens as it dehydrates, and can cause breakage. I'd recommend using a 50/50 mix of water and clay, and maybe consider a few drops of castor oil or your preferred post-shampoo/cowash hair oil. Vinegar also makes a great conditioner and detangler when used in a spray bottle; just mind your eyes bc it can sting a bit ❤❤ Thank you for the educational content! I can understand your frustration it's as if they were trying to make you look crazy even if you're not. I wouldn't deal with them again, too. They were playing a game with you. Maybe ask next time if that person is the manager before you send anything to them. They should've told you but maybe they wanted you to think ahead or something - that's reaching - I can't justify what they did at all. Watch out for people who try to make you look incompetent, overworked, or tired, or whatever they wanna say. Personally, I like to wear a silk bonnet, it is 100% mulberry silk and I think my hair is much more moist that it was before.
