he said it right there..... finding a client is super super hard....id like to add another super....." finding a client is super super super hard"...there i feel better now
@BenNader5 жыл бұрын
Yup, we all feel better now- finding the client is massively harder in comparison to finding the candidate, that's literally like candy, in this video I'm just showing you 3 really good candy stores.

Hi Ben, do you take requests for idea for new videos? I'd love to see one about reconnecting with lapsed clients and lapsed candidates - ones that were good enough for interviews in the past but contact stopped once they didn't get over the line. Andy :-)
@BenNader5 жыл бұрын
Andrew I always take good video ideas, but this doesn't need a video my man. This is easy. If a candidate or client lapses on you, you simply follow up with them, you send them a note, find them a new opportunity or reach back out to an old client and ask them if they're bringing on staff not, this is simple follow up 101. Very basic, there's not high strategy to this. These are just people we're working with, so ring them up, or email them and get in contact, pickup wherever you left off and let them know you've got something new for them and you'd love to run it by them. For candidates it's the exact same thing. You're a matchmaker, you just reconnect them with things that are of interest to them if they've fallen off a while ago.

Hi Ben!!! I LOVE your channel!! Do you think that as a recruiter is it better to be a generalist or work on a specific niche ?
@BenNader3 жыл бұрын
I think starting off with a couple of niches is best, and usually some lower hanging fruit that you can make some quick wins in (you need to cashflow to keep going), then dial in on a specific niche and make that your thing.

Can you sort candidates on linked in navigator based on profile updates or who is currently on the job market? (similar to the example in Indeed?)

Did you happen to mean "Recruiter Lite" instead of "Sales Navigator" for the LinkedIn Subscription? Thanks for all you do Ben!
@BenNader3 жыл бұрын
Definitely meant sales navigator. I tell everyone, you don't need recruiter linkedin to be successful in running a multi six figure or seven figure agency, whether you're staffing or recruiting for direct placement.

@@BenNader You mentioned the cost of Indeed, how much is Linkedin?
@andrewdunne7465 жыл бұрын
Hey Ben, do you not use job boards like Reed, Monster, CV Library etc over there in the States?
@BenNader5 жыл бұрын
No of course, I do, I just mentioned Indeed in this very video, that's the most popular job seeker job board here. Also Linkedin you can consider a job board, in a certain way and of course Craigslist is also a job board, so short answer yes, if you watch the video again these are all job boards. Monster, I don't use, it's going out of style.. "REED" I don't know what that is.
@andrewdunne7465 жыл бұрын
@@BenNader Reed is a UK based job board. I've just signed up for Jobsite and it's excellent
@BenNader5 жыл бұрын
Yea- it's highly common that different boards/sites etc are of different popularity and known in different ways here and in the UK etc. Many differences, LinkedIn is just about our closest common denominator.
