You have LOTS of valid points and criticism. There are things to worry about, as for today 2021 does not look good. Last year's Flameheart is a new content with new types of enemies and epic pve sea battle. In first 6 months of 2021 all we get is a new voyage and reskinned fort. Kinda underwhelming to be honest and far from "biggest year"...

Thanks man! Yeah I'm trying not to be too negative but I'm definitely not going to ignore the fact that it has been pretty stale lately. The good news is a lot of insiders are saying that season 3 and 4 will be really good. Let us hope they are right lol!

Honestly I hope that they bring bring more to hunters call, I know they haven’t mentioned it much beside the recent event, but it would be cool to have voyages. Maybe new animals like whales that are similar to Megs but the swim away more frequently, leading you having to chase them. The hunters call should give you a map similar to the new merchant voyage map, but instead they have a big circle or perimeter where the Meg or Whale is. I also thing they should add an emissary, when you get to level 5 you either get a voyage to hunt Moby Dick or like the reapers ( how they can see all players when they hit level 5 ), the hunters will get a Shrimp net so when they go do more fishing and hunting overtime they can earn passive income ( The bigger the ship the bigger the net ). When they go to a trading post they can sell it ( similar to docking a row boat, just a press of the button ). I highly think it’s likely that they are going to do this, but I hope they at least make improvements to hunters call. I also think it would be cool if you can hire NPCs to help you on your boat (fishing,cooking,repairing, cannoning). Of course they won’t be unfair, they would need to act regularly. It would also be cool if they added crabs, this will not only help the hunters but also it can give merchants another animal to catch. These are just my thoughts on what the next season should also focus on.

Dude I love these ideas. My favorite is the passive income with a net! That is such a good idea man!!! All factions could implement a way to get passive income too which would be awesome. I never thought of this. Also hunter call voyage is amazing ide

I feel like rare is purposefully keeping silent about the update so anything they release tomorrow is going to excite people. Calling it now, new fort event using the same forts as before, probably a reskinned boss, and thats it. Get ready to grind the battlepass because you know that op barrel emote is gonna be tier 100....

They actually said on the podcast they did recently that the new fort is a Fort of Fortune. It's gonna be a randomly spawning event, not activated, and full of Athena loot. It's also gonna play a sound notification across the entire server when it spawns. Plus they're increasing the ship cap to 6 per server again, up from the 5 we've had for a while now. The steals

Awesome Wadaya! Yeah I have heard people talk about being able to purchase storage crates and it is heavily requested so I can def see that being a thing. I can't think of any other reason why they would have showed all those crates near the merchant alliance dock worker in the teaser. Also good to know about the fort. Sounds like a lot of fun tbh. I just hope it isn't so rare that I don't get to do it without playing for 10 hours straight. Can it spawn while another world event is up?

@@Schrogs They specifically stated they wanted that big event feeling back to servers, where crews clash at something really valuable. Like good old basic forts used to be in the day but hard (hopefully)! :P So I don't think it's gonna spawn on every server, you could probably server hop to find them though. Oh and they also said they're buffing basic skellie fort loot by a lot

@@Schrogs I don't think you would, it was several months ago. I think we ran into you running the fort of the damned with like 2 or 3 other ships, and we helped, then we took pictures of like all 5 boats for a thumbnail or something. We was the Xbox skin sloop

Things I think Rare you should add to SOT: - Tsunami's (Little bit of a challenge) - Something to work for beyond Pirate Legend besides Athenas (Really nothing to work for right now) - Maybe a new boat (Warship 6-8 people) - New world events besides forts, get creative. - New addition to the map - More voyages Lemme know what yall think

Agree with all but instead of tsunami, rogue waves. Waves just like the ones in a storm show up and every once in a while an extra big wave will spawn that can damage the ship if it hits the side of the ship

Not hating great critique video, but its kind of obvious that season one was only dry because they needed to try out the seasons without adding too much to break the game any more. Just because they don't tease every single piece of content like other games do, doesn't mean they don't have anything to release. There is also talk of something to do with mermaids and an Athena expansion, so I'm definitely optimistic about it so far.

Oh no I totally agree with you mocha. But the game is definitely quite stale right now and it doesn't look based off the teaser that season 2 is going to be much more than season 1. This is just a kind of prediction/discussion though and I am also very optimistic about the game for this year even though I didn't show it in this video!
