@ianphillips1033 ай бұрын
@@bdub884 The rounds I scored for Bivol were the rounds he clearly was able to keep to Beterbiev from pushing him to the ropes. Those rounds he was able to jab, counter and keep his distance with his footwork. However there were rounds where he would get greedy, and get countered himself by Beterbiev which win lead to Beterbiev controlling the last half of a round. Outside of the rounds where Bivol clearly was in control, when he countered, Beterbiev would keep moving forward, meanwhile when Beterbiev countered, Bivol would physically back up and and start the retreat. Listen if you scored it for Bivol that's fine, I can see that, but to pretend a scorecard for Beterbiev cannot exist is dead wrong.

Did it live up to its hype? If you somehow knew boxing but didn't know Beterbiev and Bivol, you'd see it as a great tactical chess match between two elite fighters. He's the most humble and respectful boxer in the sport, so him taking a loss like a man and not causing a scene and taking away the moment from Beterbiev, only speaks to his character and not if he thinks he won or not. Especially since IF Na'im had seen the fight, he'd seen how Bivol and his corner celebrated when the bell rang in the 12th while Beterbiev and his corner did not. I had Beterbiev winning the fight but it was crystal clear after the 12th that his team and him did not think they did enough to win the fight.
