This is one of the reasons for the not so subtle "hate" for TBBT. They loved both Marvel and DC.. but they predominantly showed DC stuff for a reason. The over-saturation of the media, the near fawning over the "greatness that is the MCU" just alienated enough people that this series was a welcome clap back at those who blindly scream at "the unstoppable...". LOL
