sheldon isnt very bright. he knows theoretical physics, has a loose grasp of the scientific method and a wide knowledge of trivia. and thats about it. he copes with his lack of knowledge outside of those domains by basically putting them down

I have his same disrespect for art. My dad wanted me to go to art school instead of being a mathematician or a physicist. I wish he could have lived to see A.I. - developed by mathematicians and physicists! - steal all the art jobs. Though personally I want an MRI that reads your art out of your brain and replicates it out of your brain for you so none of the drudgery of drawing the same picture over and over again for animation and comics.
