Me and a girlfriend found this randomly in a local video store in Columbus Ohio tripping balls one Saturday night in the late 80's. Been my favorite movie ever since... WInnipeg's, as well! Those Canucks are SO proud of John P and his film. I've bought 3 VHS's over the years and finally a DVD from the WInnipeg FIlm Council, I believe. Only place you can find one. He has another one about an alien invasion called Top of the Food Chain, I suggest.

I found my VHS copy taped from TVO over 30 years ago but never ripped it. Happy to find something so obscure. Great Fun!!!!

I was in this, as the guy who smashes his head. 19 years old… superfun.

Reading the 2000 interview book with Guy Maddin and he mentions this film playing in the same festival of his first film..Time to see it. I do believe I saw the later Crimewave and not sure yet if it's the same idea..

The other Crimewave, was released the same year, totally different idea and by Sam Raimi, of all people. :)
