What?... Don't do that! while the sauce is resting, put some garlic meatballs on a Blackstone, get then all crusty on the outside, then be sure to steam them up good with a lid over them. Next, slaps some buttered hoagie buns on the Blackstone. While they are toasting up, put some slices of provolone over the meatballs, cover back up for about 2 minutes. Uncover the meatballs and slide them into the hoagies with the melted cheese, then cover with your spaghetti sauce. Now you have some kickass meatball grinders!

that all looked great. My question is; how do you keep the griddle from rusting through the winter. That's the only thing keeping me from buying... Thanks ahead
@thehungryhussey6 жыл бұрын
Hi Ray! My porch is covered, which helps and I have a hard cover for the griddle too.
@raywinward36706 жыл бұрын
thanks for getting back to me. I figured there had to be a good answer.

Ideally, you'd want to keep it cleaned well and oiled well after each use. I have sucked at doing such a few times. Haha. However, you can start over if need be and strip and reseason.
@thehungryhussey6 жыл бұрын
The other night, I stripped mine again because I didn't like the way it was seasoning. Found a rust/paint disk for a angle grinder strips it nicely in about 15 mins.

Those were some fine looking sandwiches. I've watched a bunch of your videos today, seeing that we got 15 inches of snow last night, hey my 1st snow day, and I'm 57. Never had one in school, lol. Anyways, the video with you getting all the tools from Blackstone, did you buy them or were they a gift for showing off their griddle? Also you say people say stuff like, "no cook it more" or "you can't put that ingredient in there! Being a Chef and loving Food Network (Canada) I've have learned that there are no rules to cooking, just baking. And I agree with another one of your commenters, Will Hill, I'm going to start using your saying; That's some good groceries. Keep those "Good Groceries Coming". Robin
