Just returned from the golf course…34 points stableford ….thats the best I have played this year……most importantly hit every fairway….this swing thought works so well keeping yours arms in front of the body ….. very grateful for all the hard work you must put into your videos….

You have a unique way of explaining the concepts. It appears you know what one is looking for and make it so simple and easy to sink in. One is privileged to see your coaching clips.

This is the exact move that has changed my swing for the better! Can’t stress enough how much having a net and range mat at home has helped my swing. I find there are too many distractions at a range and within the QUIET comfort at home, I learn so much more about my swing. Another feel I like is pushing my hands as far away from the body, this helps keep my lead arm straight and keep that all important WIDTH in my swing. Nice swing buddy! Always love your content!!

Well, would really like to thank you. Been scoring in mid 80's and after your recent lesson, I have shot 76 and 79 with a new and great confidence level. My playing buddies have not picked up on my swing change. Once i get some of my lost bets back, I will tell them to watch your lesson. My confidence level over the ball is 100% improved. Thanks again Great job.

I have had a lifelong tendency to rotate my wrists on my takeaway (even when I had a plus 1 handicap), which caused inconsistent ball striking and occasionally fits of shanking. I always thought this was wrist problem, not an issue with the connection of the upper lead arm to the chest. Keeping the upper lead arm connected to the chest is a much easier move for me than keeping the wrist from rotating. Thanks very much for this insight.

I just wanted to say that you're my favorite coach on KZbin. Love your videos and how you explain everything. I understand each video is unique to a certain part of the swing to make it digestible for viewers, do you have any videos in your library where there is a full overview of checks for the entire swing? P1, P2, P3, etc. and the feels for each? (Similar to how the video with Trevor when he explains impact position, holding the club in front, shift weight forward, rotate 45, extend club up, the tilt.) Cheers

Thanks for your support Tom! I have the Full Swing Blueprint master class available on CogornoGolf.com which covers every position of the swing in detail. I think it would be exactly what you're looking for! That master class, along with many other member-exclusive video series, are available there as well!

Yeah awesome lesson! Also notice how the trail arm’s elbow crotch points to the sky and then how at top of backswing right elbow is connected-Ben Hogan. Very good at communicating/simplifying.

Used Trackman to back up the strikes and all blue on Optimiser function and trajectory window perfect. Sincere thanks Mike B.

Hey Eric, great video. I've actually got the shoulder part down but find my club not tracing the line. Would be cool to see something on the wrist hinge in the takeaway. Your club shaft like matches your arm perfectly 😮

That's interesting at 9:10 in the practice swing you say get the hands behind the shoulder but at 9:29 when paused it shows your hands inline with the apex of the shoulder. Are you saying it's more of a sensation that your hands are being you shoulders?
@CogornoGolf7 ай бұрын
Hey! It SHOULD actually get behind your shoulder at top (butt of club roughly in line with ankle) thats just a poor job demonstrating on my part (didnt turn enough to finish swing) sorry about that

Eric - Love how you described this and great drill to work on. I seemly understand this but as soon as you stop at about hip high, I get stuck from where to go. Do you have something that would describe how to get to the top?
@CogornoGolf7 ай бұрын
Hey Chris! Yes! Some things I would look for The simple stuff..... 1. Keep turning your body 2. Fold your trail arm to about 90* at top Some other minor stuff: 3. Keep lead wrist relatively flat 4. Point butt of club
@chrisl16377 ай бұрын
@@CogornoGolf thanks Eric! So that I can video myself and keep track of progress where should the camera/phone be placed so it gets me at the correct angle. Is it placed directly behind the hand line?

This is so different to the drill you did with the tee peg in the butt of the club brushing your leg in the back swing ! Is it horses for courses Eric ?
@CogornoGolf7 ай бұрын
Hey! Thanks for the feedback.....in my mind they are much the same.....what do you see different? Both are designed to get the hand path more in in the takeaway Only difference with the tee is its MORE EXAGGERATED on purpose.... But both looking to fix the disconnected takeaway/hand path out early Similar to this one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/p4C0lpWMlq-ghck&pp=ygUlRXJpYyBDb2dvcm5vIG5ldmVyIHN3aW5nIG92ZXIgdGhlIHRvcA%3D%3D Hope that helps!

@@CogornoGolf I just see the right hand much closer to the leg in the tee peg drill. Both must work as you are crushing it ! The tee peg drill has helped me loads, I came 1st last week out of 32 and was chuffed to bits ! Thanks
