Oh Dan, thank you! I have been doing this w my mom for 10 years, & I just found your videos today. I know of what you speak: my god, the similarities - mom’s poops impress me beyond belief, much healthier than my own, & I have ALSO had to take stick-like apparatus for the incredible circumference! (At 96, it’s often exhausting, takes quite a bit out of her, but bc my father was a dr, we still often say bm😃. I shared 2 of your videos w mom tonight. I was nervous to show her someone else’s dementia, had never tried, but it was beautiful - she really enjoyed, laughed, & we discussed confusion, as we often do, but not like tonight. You & Ed inspired ease & reflection w humor; mom felt less alone, so could talk more easily about how she feels, which is just so challenging. I actually moved back here from CA to care for her, & here we have been. I’m 1 yr younger than you, mom is 5 yrs older than Ed. I have never posted any of my videos. Yet. Thank you endlessly for posting yours. Loving family & laugher is ultimately everything, & yours is pure love. ❤
