When I was 20, I saw Mano Negra en concert in Geneva. One of the best gigs un my life! Since then grand fan d'eux et de Manu Chao. THANKS for retaking these songs, Ren. In such a good quality!!! A part from that: "Hi Ren" reaches for me the high level of music as pink floyd reached with" the wall". Even if its completely different.

Ren, it may be a few years old but this is one of my favorites covers of yours…(y’all’s)…This and any of Nina Simone’s stuff you’ve done busking. Of course all of your other stuff is amazing as well, but this one just catches the light in a perfect particular way and shines like hell. P.S. Oh and please come to the USA. I promise it’s not really as bad as the news makes it out to be…at least in most places it’s not! (But even if it were, that’s all the more reason to come-to have the opportunity to enjoy your talent first hand would be so surreal and amazingly uplifting…Lives would be changed forever, without a doubt). I heard Manu Negra on a music TV show in the early 90s and because there was no internet I had to wait ages to find an album which was King of Bongos. Then I lost it then I found Spotify then I found them again and now here! Have you heard Out of time man?
