Favorite Cecil homerun wasn't the centerfield second deck homers at Tiger Stadium or the one he hit completely out of Milwaukee County. It was the one he hit at Yankee Stadium the day Steinbrenner was kicked out of baseball for the second time. After the news broke in the stadium and the crowd gave a standing ovation of approval (we were tired of George at that point) Cecil hits a porch job. It summed up how far George had fallen and the team needed better leadership and at the end the dynasty was born that day. Then Cecil winds up a yankee in the middle of the 96 season.
