There's a research study done by Yale where they supposedly disproved that the unemployment benefits were contributing to nobody going back to work and places being severly understaffed, they conveniently left part-time employee's and people who worked a job for less then 5 years out off the study.... basically only leaving the people who were invested in their jobs. In doing this they took something that was obviously true and made it appear to be false according to their desires, this is also a common occurrence in the pharmaceutical and medical industries.

There are very few adequate ivermectin trials because there is no money for a large enough one. There is a process to be followed, just as with the vaccines. Trials, reports, FDA submissions, request for fast track.... All of it costs money - quite a bit of money. Ivermectin is approved for various antiparasitic roles but antiviral use is off-label. To get it added to the list of uses takes money. That is the rub. Ivermectin is also off-patent. Nobody wants to spend the money to go through all the requirements because everybody can continue to make as much ivermectin as they are already making for veterinary purposes. Could it be that the delta variant ran out of hosts to infect? Just a thought. Perhaps that should be studied. Dr. Mike, beside dose considerations, another important consideration is the timing of the drug. Giving steroids early in the disease doesn't work. Vaccines only work if they are given well ahead of the disease. But when someone gets acute COVID we are telling people to stay at home and do nothing. Vaccines don't help at that point. Steroids don't help at that point. Beyond the meta-analysis' there are just countless personal testimonies of dramatic recovery with Ivermectin. And AFAIK in the meta-analysis people have shown that even removing the individual studies you are concerned with there are several others and on the whole, there is benefit. You are making an argument that in early disease sitting home and doing NOTHING is a better risk/reward for patients than prescribing Ivermectin dosing as advised by the FLCCC (which is higher than the dose you describe but still well within safety tolerances). So I just don't buy your arguments. IMO the debate is legit but we should not be suppressing the discussion. I'm from Colombia, where the JAMA study was conducted. NYT and other media took it like gospel while here everyone in Cali knew the study was flawed from the beggining. The study was underpowered (478 patients) , poorly randomized (the populations in each arm were inconsistent by age, gender and comorbidities) and have severe protocol breaches, For example : - in the middle of the study they discarded 78 patients, and switched placebo people with ivermectin. The paper mentions that no affectation to the protocol, but they dont say how they know that. - The assesment was subjective, they didn't do viral load test determine the severity of the infection. They didn't even do a PCR at the 21 days to determine clearance of the virus. - They didn't control for when it was administered, the initiation of the protocol was arbitrary - Placebo patient did take ivermectin as it's very easy to get in Colombia over the counter, and the doctors give them recipes. In Cali a lot of people were self administering it when the study was done, the study only give ivermectin per 1 person per household. What people did was go pharmacist and buy extra with the same recipe and give both the placebo and the extra doses to the whole household. Also there was a significant reduction in symptoms in the ivermectin arm, but they didn't mention that because they just evaluated "clearance at 21 days". Under the subjective criteria. Other misc things: - The study said they need to take the ivermectin on empty stomach, that doesn't make any sense, all the other procotols and normal usages say it take it with meals, because the excipients tend to cause stomach ache on an empty stomach (and this is true of many things like vitamin excipients). Given their protocol they reported stomach ache as adverse effect, like no joke, you told them wrong. - Other protocols use 0.4-0.6 mg/kg injected subcutaneous per dose 5 days or until the symptoms clear. This study used 0.3 mg/kg oral, given the bioavailabity is around 50% oral, that is the equivalent of 0.15mg/kg. They are way below the safe dosage as is used for malaria (up to 2mg/kg) so i don't see a toxicological concern.

@WildSanative3 жыл бұрын
Just because they call themselves experts doesn’t make them the end all be all. Critical thinking could save a life . Ask the people who are suffering from the side effects . More and more stories of serous side effects, even death stories are surfacing. Maybe if the read the warning labels and practices critical thinking they wouldn’t be worse off than before the vaccine they took. Their are alternative treatments and every human being has a right to decide what’s best for their body. It doesn’t stop anyone from getting covid or spreading it either the vaccine. So critical thinking is absolutely in order. No "expert “ can control nature. Only arrogant human beings believe that. So spreading fear and bullying people into a vaccine that clearly is NOT a cure shouldn’t be pushed. Parents raise their children not the government. The government doesn’t own anyone. How about some integrity? Their are alternative treatments that are successful. It’s dishonest and bad medicine practices to speak so arrogantly and hold a position of authority. Many "experts” speak of alternatives as well. It’s up to the individual what they chose to put in their body. These mandates is bullying.

There is SO much scientific and independent information right now about the efficiency of ivermectin (the pills, NOT the horse paste) in covid19. SCIENTIFIC ARTICLES ABOUT SUCCESSFUL IVERMECTIN USE FOR COVID19 -'Ivermectin for Prevention and Treatment of COVID-19 Infection: A Systematic Review, Meta-analysis, and Trial Sequential Analysis to Inform Clinical Guidelines ' Conclusions: "Moderate-certainty evidence finds that large reductions in COVID-19 deaths are possible using ivermectin. Using ivermectin early in the clinical course may reduce numbers progressing to severe disease". -'Evaluation of the effectiveness and safety of adding ivermectin to treatment in severe COVID-19 patients' Conclusions: "According to the findings obtained, ivermectin can provide an increase in clinical recovery, improvement in prognostic laboratory parameters and a decrease in mortality rates even when used in patients with severe COVID-19. Consequently, ivermectin should be considered as an alternative drug that can be used in the treatment of COVID-19 disease or as an additional option to existing protocols". -'A five-day course of ivermectin for the treatment of COVID-19 may reduce the duration of illness' Conclusions: "Virological clearance was earlier in the 5-day ivermectin treatment arm when compared to the placebo group, but this was not the case for the ivermectin + doxycycline arm. There were no severe adverse drug events recorded in the study. A 5-day course of ivermectin was found to be safe and effective in treating adult patients with mild COVID-19." -'Ivermectin for Prevention and Treatment of COVID-19 Infection: a Systematic Review and Meta-analysis' Conclusions: "These findings suggest low to moderate-certainty evidence showing a survival benefit without harm of ivermectin for treatment against covid-19. Low certainty evidence on improvement and deterioration support the possibility of clinical benefit with ivermectin. Low certainty evidence also suggest it could be a useful prophylaxis. Overall, therefore, the evidence suggests that early use of ivermectin may reduce morbidity and mortality from covid-19, based on reductions in covid-19 infections when ivermectin was used as post-exposure prophylaxis, more favourable point estimates for mild to moderate disease compared with severe disease for death due to any cause, and on the evidence demonstrating reductions in the number of patients deteriorating. The evidence on severe adverse events in this review was graded as low certainty, partly because there were too few events to reach statistical significance. However, evidence from a recent systematic review of ivermectin use among people with parasitic infections suggests that ivermectin administered at the usual doses (0.2mg/kg or 0.4mg/kg) is safe and could be safe at higher doses.7,112 A recent World Health Organization document on ivermectin use for scabies found that adverse events with ivermectin were primarily minor and transient." -'Prophylactic Role of Ivermectin in Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 Infection Among Healthcare Workers' Conclusion: "Two doses of oral ivermectin (300 μg/kg/dose given 72 hours apart) as chemoprophylaxis among HCWs reduced the risk of COVID-19 infection by 83% in the following month. Safe, effective, and low-cost chemoprophylaxis has relevance in the containment of pandemic alongside vaccine". -'Medical Safety of Ivermectin- comprehensive review of safety' Conclusion: “Ivermectin human toxicity cannot be claimed to be a serious cause for concern.” -'Ivermectin for COVID-19: real-time meta analysis of 63 studies' Conclusions: "Meta analysis using the most serious outcome reported shows 69% [54‑79%] and 86% [75‑92%] improvement for early treatment and prophylaxis, with similar results after exclusion based sensitivity analysis and restriction to peer-reviewed studies or Randomized Controlled Trials. Statistically significant improvements are seen for mortality, hospitalization, recovery, cases, and viral clearance. 29 studies show statistically significant improvements in isolation". -'Exploring the binding efficacy of ivermectin against the key proteins of SARS-CoV-2 pathogenesis: an in silico approach' Conclusions: "The present study depicts comparative binding efficacy of a promising FDA-approved drug, ivermectin, against major pathogenic proteins of SARS-CoV-2 and their human counterparts involved in host-pathogen interaction. Herein, our in silico data have indicated that ivermectin efficiently utilizes viral spike protein, main protease, replicase and human TMPRSS2 receptors as the most possible targets for executing its antiviral efficiency. Therefore, ivermectin exploits protein targets from both virus and human, which could be the reason behind its excellent in vitro efficacy against SARS-CoV-2 as reported by Caly et al. In this context, ivermectin could be an effective option as well. Considering all these facts, the present study explores the therapeutic targets of ivermectin against SARS-CoV-2 and enlightens the possibility of using this drug in COVID-19 clinical trials shortly". -'The FDA-approved drug ivermectin inhibits the replication of SARS-CoV-2 in vitro' Conclusions: The results showed that this drug is a potent inhibitor of SARS-Cov-2. Ivermectin causes 5000x reduction in viral RNA during two days, which requires future clinical investigation in humans "We report here that Ivermectin, an FDA-approved anti-parasitic previously shown to have broad-spectrum anti-viral activity in vitro, is an inhibitor of the causative virus (SARS-CoV-2), with a single addition to Vero-hSLAM cells 2 h post infection with SARS-CoV-2 able to effect ~5000-fold reduction in viral RNA at 48 h. Ivermectin therefore warrants further investigation for possible benefits in humans". -'The mechanisms of action of Ivermectin against SARS-CoV-2: An evidence-based clinical review article' Conclusions: "Considering the urgency of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, simultaneous detection of various new mutant strains and future potential re-emergence of novel coronaviruses, repurposing of approved drugs such as Ivermectin could be worthy of attention". People are trying it anyway. And I think the video said people are not being safe with it. Doctors don’t prescribe things to just try without verification either way (thank goodness!) they would then be responsible for deaths of something not working at their advice. There isn’t any ulterior motive. (I think maybe people who say this watch too many movies or something) everyone is just trying to manage the pandemic the best they know how. And so far vax is proven most effective. There are better easier less dramatic ways to make $$$$$$$$$ than to start a pandemic and try and make people not take horse paste.
