This is why I am getting my masters in the medical field therefore I can open my own practice. I’m tired of how these corporate offices operate. I have been looking for a job for over a year and have not been able to secure a full time job.

Listen these companies do not care nor are they loyal to you the sooner you learn realize that the better off you are. Never stay loyal to these companies and always work on side hustle or your business. Protect yourself at all times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My friend you're certainly using your gifts to inspire and empower us. Just came across your video today. I actually resigned from my 3-year job 3 months ago and I feel so liberated by making that decision, because as you said, "these employers don't care about us". They've already started to make greedy changes, and I knew I could no longer be a part of them. I'm excited to go back to my island in the Grenadines and serve and inspire my community members to make healthy lifestyle changes.

to clarify, looking back I apologize for the way I worded it. yes we all have gifts but during the time my close coworkers did not have any gifts they are well aware of. I encouraged them to possibly open a small business and to dig deep into things they really enjoy and how they can use that as leverage during this period of unemployment until they figure out what’s next. you are absolutely right, we all have gifts.

Also I am very sorry you got laid off. Gifted or not that's a traumatic life event to go through. And yes, these companies don't give a sh!t about their employees. They want loyalty but definitely don't give it. You are bigger than your job. God bless you and I pray everyone affected by this lay off lands on their feet. ❤️🙏

At 32 I am just realizing that if you have a dream and can turn it into a plan you can do so much with it. I am over the rat race, the 9-5. I really want to work for myself. Since the pandemic I realize we are nothing more than a number to these companies. Financial Freedom is the goal.

I am glad you are gifted and have a talent but how do you know your co-workers don't?? That assumption struck me as kind of ignorant and judgemental. Everyone has gifts and talents. You may not see it because they don't talk about it but most of your co-workers probably do have a gift or talent that they can turn into a side hustle.

I literally had a convo with them and they told me they didn’t lol and that’s perfectly fine. after we talked about it I encouraged them to even just start a small business themselves, she was interested but didn’t know what her business would be. I didn’t mean to come across as ignorant and judgmental, im the least of those two things. I more so was coming from a standpoint of making sure you know your gift or talent way before you get sucked into the 9-5 ladder. an outlet whether for profit or not is always good no matter what.

Idea that might help someone... Find the geographic location with higher ratio of high income job openings versus the cost of a renovated bathroom suite. DC area ranks highest globally, specifically Prince George's county Maryland. No wonder more wealth held by black people is there than anywhere else globally. ❤ Payoff housing debt ASAP and buy index funds

@@tayyylormadeit Great! I wish you the best! I am retired now but when I was young these two things happened on jobs and I never forgot! I hope someone learn from these: 1. We trained our replacements! The company I worked for hired a number of people and asked senior staff to train them and document everything we did, on the pretence of getting a raise. After several weeks of training, the senior staff was called into the boss' office and each one of us was fired and the new hires we trained took our jobs. 2. Fired after giving proper notice! I was leaving a job and gave the several weeks required notice, however the new boss told me my last day was immediate! Give notice only after you have everything that you need out of the office and the company! The good news is: Life continues!

but the issue is making enough money from the gift to live. these people have setup the system so we work to live and the price of everything is so high for us to be free. everything cost so much to make a living from a gift or something we really love or want to do.

I get that, I guess what I meant to say is the key is to be able to leverage your 9-5 to pour into your gifts. that way if a lay off (God forbid) happens to you you can atleast use your gifts for a while to figure out what you want to do or atleast so you have the option. is there anything your passionate or curious about?
