The Rangers were one strike away from a championship, twice. That is like needing to hit one free throw in basketball for a championship or gain one yard in football for a championship. I'm not sure if any team in any sport will ever be as close to a championship and not close the deal as the 2011 Rangers were, twice.

I know you guys could care less about soccer.. but take the time to appreciate just how big of a choke job it is to finish 5th out of 6 teams in concacaf with European stars.. behind jungle farmers playing part time soccer in obscure lower leagues.. hell, for all their failures at the end all they needed was a tie against a Trinidad and Tobago C team...
