Does the backlight have to be on constantly on the Hibreak or can it be turned off fully? Also, any camera samples??

It depends on how god light it is. You don’t need front light on when I direct sunlight or under great light. I didn’t bother with the camera more than took one photo and immediately saw that it’s much worse than on all iPhones. So I won’t use it more than when I absolutely don’t have a better camera with me.

Not a bad device! But now that Amazon has finally released a color ereader, all other options are second tier. You can’t beat Amazon’s ecosystem or quality of their ereaders.

Maybe. We will see how good it will be in real use. And for me that reads swedish books Amazon is not the greatest option though. But it's great for English users

I think this device is mainly a color eink phone.. And reader as an additional function.
