Legitimately impressed with your play on the Dark Chest. The fight with Mega Satan was such a close call, I was literally watching on the edge of my seat. Farming the last level was definitely the right call albeit a risky one

@@karel3xp I'd have to rewatch it for the entire context since it's been 5 years, but I think the thing was he almost went to the cathedral rather than sheol, which would have been run ending since he would have had the wrong path item (the Negative, instead of Polaroid). It would have been shorter, but the run needs to go to Mega Satan it seems

The hardest NL runs really do make you understand that it's the little things that matter. Scapular was by far the most unsung hero in this run, just as much as that one Pretty Fly and Guppy's Collar from Rebirth episode 195 [Fireworks] saved him from Dark One (Rebirth The Lost). It's beautiful.

watching the video he is almost done with second floor. For some strange reason, I actually want him to win this run as opposed to having to do it 50 times like everyone else. He has decent items so he can't steamroll, and limited hp so he has to play well. I'm looking forward to watching him play this and hopefully pull out the W. Then the game GIVES HIM FUCKING MAGIC MUSH. Are you fucking serious? burn and die hardboiled egg! eggs are always better with salt anyway : / EDIT: I was actually cheering for him at the end when he was getting fucked over in the dark room. Scapular is low key the best item in the game. The problem is how it works. You gotta be on low hp. Which of course nobody wants to happen. So you don't actually want to be in a situation where it's useful. But when you are. It's the best pickup you can get
