She is brilliant and turned 94 last month. Her real name is Nathalie Kay Hedren and TIPPI is her stage name. Rod sadly died 4 days before his 85th birthday in January 2015. Brilliant film. I heard Hitchcock blacklisted apparently because she refused to sleep with him. I am staying neutral. I only read the article a while back and dont like disparaging people who are dead. Lets hope Tippi makes it to 100.

are you sure?. When I was a kid growing up in San Francisco, we took a drive to Bodega Bay right after 'The Birds' came out. We had lunch at the bar/restaurant they all hid in, at a table right next to the window overlooking the bay. As I recall, downtown looked the same as in the movie. The people there were very friendly and told us where all the scenes were filmed so we could go look at the locations. Maybe you got confused because the school scenes and some of the others, were filmed in the town of Bodega a few miles inland from Bodega Bay. We all liked the place and the people so much, mom bought a lot there with a view of the bay.

@@LuckyBaldwin777 - Everything that shown in the movie Bodega Bay has a real life equivalent of, just somethings are not where the movie shows. I think Hitchcock probably wanted a level of control that he wouldn't have got in a real location.

Hitchcock often used composition in the car scene, but why did he use composition in such a casual scene? I think it's really good to take a scene where you are really in a car and driving.

Marco non farci caso non sono molto normale ora mi si è ficcato in testa Carlo Giordano perché l'ho associato al film Herbie il maggiolino sempre più matto per quell'incidente che abbiamo fatto con le nostre macchine a fine 2007 scorso a Lucera (FG) davanti alla piscina vicino al nostro ex medico di famiglia eh Marco la scena di Herbie del lavavetri mi ha dato alla testa
