Well I had a TV in the basement that I could watch any channel I liked while my parents had TV upstairs in the living room/bedroom.... "I'm allergic to goldfish" That is so unfortunate man...I tend to be more of an animal crackers person, that's what used to be stuffed in my lunchbox back in the early 2000s. Unfortunately they ended up discontinuing those sometime in 2008 after I graduated 5th grade....Sucks but at least goldfish crackers still exist, whereas animal crackers, not so much.

so uh fun fact: there was a full on goldfish central website once upon a time. only have a vague memory of it but viscerally recall anytime you went to the front page there was a flash application that'd say "Welcome to Goldfish Central". and that is baked and flavor blasted into my psyche.

You should do a video on the lore of Lucky Charms. I remember their website used to have a whole interactive series of videos and games showing how the mascot character used the different marshmallow shapes for magical abilities. I barely remember any of the story, but it was certainly bizarre. I think there have also been a number of different arcs over the years.

I remember seeing a couple of these ads in the mornings watcing Nick, Cartoon Network, Boomerang (maybe) Hasbro, most mornings before going to school. The goldfish cracker ads are the ONLY ads I appreciate even to this day (and the older pop tart ads). Every ad except the pop tart and goldfish cracker ads I will actually watch.

I knew for a while that there was a story in the finn and friends universe, but I never watched enough TV to know how long it was on for or even any of the characters. Also I was too young to see the best seasons so that sucks. I think the only one I might have possibly saw, maybe even later than when it aired was the one where Brooke does a magic trick.

So after you mentioned the Goldfish crackers having a fanbase... I just HAD to know if there was Goldfish crackers fanfiction out there. Turns out that there is! And these stories certainly sound... Interesting...? Half of the Goldfish Crackers fanfiction on AO3 contain sexually explicit content. There are a total of 4 Goldfish Cracker fanfiction on AO3. Brooke seems to be the most popular character. Also one of the summaries for these fics says, and I quote, "there are a bunch of goldfish crackers doing crack in 1945 and uh shit just happens like racism" Well... That certainly is something!

I my whole life have been obsessed with the lore of the media I consume. And nothing intrigued me more then the gold fish commercials. I was so invested in the story. What’s out there? Where will they go? What will they do? I watched the commercials waiting to know and see more of their world. When I saw the video in my feed I had to watch it. After the dream arc I feel off as I grew up and the commercials lost their luster but I do still remember occasionally seeing them on. Thank you for this video!

Was watching this while filling out my InstaCart order this morning and when I heard about dipping the pretzel goldfish in white qeso, I thought I'd give it a try. I will say that the flavor is alright but the little fish shaped pretzels are ultimately too small for dipping in qeso. I would recommend normal pretzel sticks over these pretzel Goldfish.
