Easily the best song off El Camino, if not in their entire catalog. I love this song so much I want to have its babies.

If you listen to most live recordings, they are in wide stereo, usually relative to the positions of the players, for immersion. The live concert mix for the PA system isn't necessarily the same mix that will go to record.

I want to hear El Camino played on an old record player converted to record to mp3 with all of the old vinyl cracks and pops. Heck, I would like to see them record their next album to vinyl, then record their cd from the vinyl using an old record player with all of the snaps and pops. I know modern vinyl doesn't pop or anything half as much as the old vinyl, but I really think they fit best with the old 70's sound of vinyl.

but not all... i mean, the live show is mono, but if they think recorded, they mixed like an album, that's the reason of many live show sound with very high cuality... i belive the black keys is for another the reason, for a "vintage" sound...

If you read what I said, I said an older one that IS kinda low-defish, with the sounds you get from well worn vinyl. The quality of the sound is far better, but then you have the sounds from the old record players. Just listen to some of the extra sounds when you yt Green Onions vinyl to hear what I mean. And who the crap are you to say I'm pretentious when you're freaking following the textbook definition of pretentious!!!
