Have you read joe hills short story collections? They’re nuts and all instant classics imo. Also the best horror short story collection this year was easily “ never whistle at night” which is by a bunch of awesome indigenous authors and has got some stories that are still keeping me up thinking months after i finished it.

I have yeah, Joe Hill is one of my favorite authors🔥 I read Full Throttle by him and NOS4A2. And thanks for that recommendation👍🏽 I will definitely check it out soon

I thought this story was okay/decent. Dean Koontz isn't really known for writing short stories but he has a few good ones.
