The Blackpool-Preston thing is not to be underestimated in viciousness , nor when Bolton go to town and turn Blackpool over everytime. But as someone who has worked in ICU and A&E at Blackpool Victoria its nothing compared to Jocks week . Blackpool still has over 25% of the drinking places in Lancashire and a worse drug problem than Moss Side (when City were there) .

a cab driver from blackpool told me some years back that in the 70s and early 80s the jocks would come in their thousands spend money get drunk have a fight then go home, from the mid 80's turned up with no money and stayed.

Sinclairs old school going back ,when doormen had to be the real deal ,not like these days mainly backed up by dibble ,and all town centre cameras things were much more violent in the 80 s .
