I think the blood pact and the failed dual explain each other. Ariana dies because the blood pact existed and Grindy could not attack Dumbleodore and vice versa. When they started casting spells against each other there was an explosion that killed Ariana. Dumbleodore doesn’t want to fight Grindewald because he is afraid another innocent is killed

The consequences of breaking a blood pact is unknown. Although my theory is that maybe because Dumbledore and Grindelwald fought each other the consequences of it is that the blood pact killed her as a punishment. (The blood pact stayed intact though.) I think the blood pact is real and he keeps it on him because he thinks it's secure with him.

This is a really really really good theory. If the blood pact keeps them from hurting each other maybe they both cast a spell/curse while dueling and it rebounded and hit Ariana. Causing her to lose control

Nice one! I also thought the vial could be fake but didn't get as much sense out of it as you did here. Also, I didn't like the fact that the supposed Blood Pact was keeping Dumbledore from facing Grindelwald, as canon suggest he didn't do it because of his feelings; I was really hopeful when the Mirror of Erised showed up with them both, but them the Pact turned up and made my mind explode... Then I asked myself why would the Mirror of Erised would be the device chosen for that instead of the Pensieve (even though Dumbledore was not Headmaster at the time) and the feelings thing was the only obvious explanation, and the easiest by far, but my read was a bit different: why would Dumbledore's most dearest desire would be that very moment precisely? Could it be that the Pact was indeed intended, but never performed? I tend to link this with my other theory about Aurelius being an Alchemical Homunculus (or the Wizarding World's equivalent): if both the most brilliant wizards of their generation were working together that summer, they would certainly wouldn't be doing so just plotting how to rule over muggles, but expanding their magical abilities too. Dumbledore is deeply involved with Alchemy at least, and I'm quite sure that, if GG wasn't, he would certainly have been interested. Blood magic is something that keeps popping up a lot lately (Nagini's Blood Curse, the Blood Pact, etc) so I thought they were pushing A. Waffling's First Law of Magic's limit with that particular experiment. So, I concluded the Blood Pact might never have happened, yet Dumbledore clinged to it as it provided an excellent excuse for declining facing GG. But then, why woud GG would go around with a vial Newt recognizes as a Blood Pact? (I also asked myself how the hell could he have known but I quickly remembered Dumbledore's was his teacher), and I couldn't imagine a reason so far until now! (unless the Pact was between GG and someone else).

I think it's not fake! Dumbledore and Grindelwald didn't fight each other. Dumbledore only wanted to SAVE Aberforth, so he didn't attack. Grindelwald only attacked Aberforth, so Grindelwald didn't attack Dumbledore too.

Its because ariana has the same blood as dumbldore and because they broke the blood pact ariana became weaker and died because she has the blood of dumbledore so instead of one of them (dumbledore,grindelwald) died ariana was the one that caught the result of the breaking blood pact and died instead of dumbledore or grindelwald dying

@@georgewood6211 Albus was gay. Gelert could be bisexual or even straight. Not the first time a straight man used his influence to subvert a gay man. And you never heard of a 17/18yo male teenager having sex with a 12/13yo teenage girl? Sorry but it happens all the time, and it could even have been rape. For all we know the reason Arianna accidentally "killed" her mother was because Kendra was trying to take the child away from her. It would explain why both she and Aurelius are Obscurists and why the Phoenix came to a Dumbledore's aid. Gellert would have met Arianna and Kendra first out of all the Dumbedore family at Godrick's Hollow when he was visiting his aunt Mathilda Bagshot. It could also explain why Aberforth hated Gellert.

Spoiler alert ⚠ my fan theory ...................................... I believe Gellert took an unhealthy interest in Ariana having watched her obscurus qualities whilst living in Godrick's Hollow with his aunt Bathilda. He has the ability to manipulate the innocent and kind-hearted. I believe that he groomed Ariana with friendship (like he seduced her brother Albus) before raping her, which if this theory is true will be referred to as 'defiling' her. The Crimes Of Grindelwald depicted how Mr Lestrange had put women under a spell so they could bear his children. I think GG cast this with Ariana because he wanted to reproduce more Obscurials for the 'Greater Good' in his grand scheme of taking down muggles (remember Ariana had been taunted by muggle boys so a lonely teenaged girl with uncontrollable rage could be convinced to go with his plan). I believe Credence is Ariana and Gellert's son and I don't think Ariana actually died in that 3-way battle with Aberforth. I think it was a ruse to ship Ariana out of the country so she could give birth. I don't think Grindelwald even knew if the baby 🤱 👶 was a boy 👦 or a girl 👧 but assumed that it was a girl because it would have Obscurus powers like it's mother. That's why he thought the Obscurial was Modesty in Fantastic Beasts 1. Both Ariana and Credence had surpassed the life expectancy for an Obscurial and both desperately in need of love and devotion. Also they were both misunderstood to be squibs because they suppressed their magic 🧝‍♂️. Think about it the entire Dumbledore 'siblings' have "A" names and the 2 older brothers names have AB prominence whereas Aurelias is more similar to Ariana because of the AR prominence. Albus is 20 years than Credence/ Aurelias so even though the phoenix arrived to Credence in the way Fawkes does to Albus; I believe this Dumbledore family 👪 legacy is more to do with them being uncle and nephew rather than brothers especially considering the huge age gap. The way Colin Farrel is with Ezra Miller in Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them could be interpreted as creepy but also perhaps like a father showing affection to his son. That's why he got so mad 😡 at the end when he thought 💭 MACUSA killed him. There are queries I want to know with regards to this theory of mine such as whether Ariana is still alive. If so I guess Dumbledore never finds out as he still carried the guilt of her death ☠ in Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince 🤴. I also don't think Aberforth knew as well as he held on to deep resentment even after Dumbledore's death. Did Mary Lou know the truth or was the "wicked evil 😈 🧙‍♀️ woman 👩" she was referring to was who she believed to be his mother during the drowning accident mix up which would have been Corvos Lestrange's mum? I mean she said woman 👩 and not girl 👧 so maybe she didn't realise his real mum is Ariana Dumbledore.

@@PR7-82 Yup this is exactly how I thought it went down. Arianna was a pre-eleven year old girl when the muggle teenaged boys attacked her. This destroyed her normal magical expression and thus excluded her from Hogworts, under the quill and book. This then took their father out of the picture when he retaliated against the Muggle boys and he ended up in Azkaban. So Kendra took over raising Arianna, with Aberforth's help in the beginning, and then later alone when Aberforth went to Hogwarts to join Albus there as students. I agree Gellert used a spell on her to in effect rape her at the age of 12 or 13, as you call it "defile her" because he wanted a way to control the Obscurial within her.. I think when arianna had the child Kendra tried to remove the child to protect it from Arianna's unstable magic and Arianna went insane and killed her mother, summoning both her brothers home to take care of her and for the funeral. Gellert flees from the Hollow to find out what happened to Aurelius, who is secreted off to America to some obscure relative or family friend, to love and raise the child, but the children get swapped by Leta LeStrange. Aurelius now becomes Credence. Gellert unable to locate Aurelius, returned to Godrick's Hollow, possibly with the Elder wand, and tries to curse Arianna and Aberforth to reveal where the child has been taken. Maybe only Kendra knew where the child had been sent, and Arianna killed her before she could tell Albus or Aberforth. Albus found Gellert torturing his siblings and went off on him. Albus and Aberforth using every spell in their combined arsenal to try and subdue Gellert to stand for all his crimes so far against the Dumbledore family. Albus because of the blood pact couldn't do much harm to Gellert but he could try and protect his siblings from Gellert's attacks upon them. I think Arianna did die in the three way duel, and Gellert did her in. He knew they had had a child, but not where or what gender the child was, a potential Obscurist whom he could manipulate to ensure it would become an obscurist once he found it. Maybe Gellert deflected an attack by Aberforth, it hit Arianna, and he added to the power of the stun enough to stun her heart and lungs, so she died. Or her obscurial became so violent it knocked all three young men out while it killed Arianna. Gellert came to first, and fled with the Elder wand still in his possession. Or after this fight he realized that in order to find his and Arianna's child he needed the Elder wand to 1, find the child, and 2, to over power the obscurial within it and to shape it to his purposes. To remove Albus from getting in his way. To bring wizarding kind to their rightful place as ruling the muggles.
