However, my Dad is in NY and my mom in is NJ, which are the first and second worst states in the US for COVID-19. Very kind of you Tom!! I learnt this song, it took a while and I was so happy to upload it, but I am in awe of James Taylor, for not only writing this song but the arrangement is so special. He isn't at all renowned for the blues, he generally writes and sings ballads. Having said that, he is an amazing 'arranger' of music. He has (through his arrangements) made hits of other peoples's music by making those songs uniquely his. A very talented person Tom, IMHO. Thank you Mate. ☮️

Superb performance Johnny, a great song from James Taylor.I remember a documentary on James Taylor saying that they(His band) were'nt really a blues band, but he came up with a couple of blues gems such as this and Steamroller.

And now it's very nice of you to play only for fun and for the love of art !!! :) It was not me who played the guitar for The Circle Game but my friend Heino who plays so much better !!!!!!!!!!!! I have been learning the guitar thanks to YT for 6 years now and it is an endless pleasure .... You have absolutely no justification to give !!!!! The wonderful songs (and Joni's are part of them!) belong to everyone !!!!!!!! (well .... no, not really .... they belong to their authors :)))) and everyone is absolutely free to play them whenever they want .... and sometimes the same song can be played by different people the same day !!! incredible coincidences !!! :) or within a few days ..... and when there is a gap of several months (which will be the case with your version) there is absolutely nothing to say about it except that I HOPE you will publish it before the end of June, before my two month YT break (July / August) because I know it will be a treattttttttttttttttttt !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I watched your performance several times Johnny and was thoroughly impressed! James Taylor I've always considered a somewhat underrated guitarist. He's obviously had the kind of success as an artist that few could dream of but he's also an excellent player. Anyway your performance certainly well matched the original - the singing was maybe more passionate even and the guitar playing was excellent!
