In pursuit of voicing unspoken feelings during a period of personal fragility and global uncertainty, the trio’s collaborative album ‘Orchards of a Futile Heaven’ marries Dis Fig’s full-tilt vocal crescendos with The Body’s sludge metal roots to incandescent effect. While conjuring industrial pandemonium, The Body & Dis Fig’s live performance takes listeners on a dark journey of longing and discovery.
