I really love the Sunday build videos. When I started watching this channel, it was just a little yellow Jeep pulling cars outta sand, but now I’m watching a full-on vehicle building and engineering video on Sundays which is probably better than the channels who just do only builds all the time. This is the best channel on KZbin right now. The consistency is amazing, the variety makes it never boring, sometimes I learn something, and sometimes I even tear up a little like watching Abby so excited to play in that park you helped build. I just can’t sing enough praises for what you guys are doing, you guys are the best.

If you're looking for a serious, build Sunday channel, this is now become one of the best. If you're looking for a channel that has the best community, well, this is the best. If you're looking for a channel that has it all, nothing beats this.

@@markverloop8787 You have no clue how expense it is for people with a handicap and that needs help to walk or do things and insurance doesn't cover things because it is no deemed needed. Take a look at action track chair it is a off road track wheelchair for people to get back in tot he woods do trial and just be more free but at a starting price of over $16k + it is out of the reach for so many people. I'm so glad they built the ADA park and more areas are building the ADA parks and playground to include all. Just wish stuff wasn't so costly and insurance would to cover some things so people can have there life back, Would be nice not to have to make sure a place has paved paths so i can walk with my friend we could just go and to different things and not worry if I can walk there because of like sand or rocks.

My oldest son and I text movie quotes to each other all the time just for the fun of it. A pneumatic track tensioning system would work really good. I have built multiple tracked vehicles from scratch and I have used a few different system to tension the tracks. I used hydraulic tensioners on my first build and I used the power steering pump to provide pressure and I used solenoid valves and pressure gauges to tension the tracks. I also tried nitrogen charged hydraulic accumulators for controlling track tension. On my later builds I used pneumatic tensioners, I tried air cylinders, air bags and air brake chambers and they all worked pretty good but the airbags were my favorite. I made link bars with heim joints and a rocker cam so I could mount the airbags up underneath tucked away. The next time I build a tracked vehicle I will use a pneumatic hybrid system with 2 hydraulic cylinders connected together with a airbag to act on one cylinder which makes the other cylinders go in or out. I like testing new ideas even when I have a proven method. Having the ability to release the track tension on the fly is nice for when you get something caught in the tracks. You could of added some cushioning by using torsional axles instead of just regular trailer drop axles. Torflex axles would of given you a small amount of suspension which would reduce wear and tear on everything else. The timbren axle less trailer suspension would of worked really good and it wouldn't make it much easier to repair any damage and it would have some dampening.
@throttlebottle5906

good suggestion and idea, since the loading and inflation of tires will alter the tracks length, possibly by large amounts. having some form of variable/self adjusting tensioner makes sense to me.

Hey. Im a German guy, and did some Building too. At 13:25 you say "One and three eights of a cm." So 1 3/8cm. But we dont say something like that. This would be 1,375cm. But in Metalworking we (unless big builds and big toleranzes) never measure in cm. We use mm. So the 1.375 will be multiplied by 10. It would be 13.75 mm (millimeter). One of the advantages of the metric system ist the easy conversion. 1Meter = 10Decimeter = 100 Centimeter = 1000 Millimeter (1m = 10dm = 100cm = 1000mm) But Decimeters are nearly never used. You use Meters or Centimeters instead.

These videos are always too short. This is a project I could just get lost in. I love this sort of thing. You guys and gals are doing a great job.

Nothing makes me happier about living in a country with the metric system than watching you guys calculate dimensions for your builds. (Not that I can even put a shelf up straight).

I'm so glad you have Tom to make stuff look nice. While I understand those half-circles didn't NEED to look nice and nobody will ever see them again... why not make them look nice. haha Especially since Tom found a quick easy way to make them look nice

Every time I see Abby, I get a huge smile on my face! She is so good natured, and always seems to be smiling. What an incredible attitude! Thank you Matt for helping to get that park built. I hope that Abby gets to use that park quite often.
