@@floridarebel987 A book I have on flags of the Confederacy says that it was the Confederate State Flag of Florida from Sept. 1861 for the duration of the war. The one that was the Flag of Florida for only eight months was the "Chase Flag" that is featured in a video on this channel.

@@gagemills3471 I've listened to it a few times, but I never really liked it too much. I used to have it on my favorite list to listen to, but the part that mentions McClellan makes me laugh every time. I feel that he is not a good representation for the Union Irish. I just think the Bonnie blue flag is better. I do like the "Irish Jaunting Car" which is what both songs are inspired by.

For those of you just aching for another civil war, especially on behalf of a certain orange-colored ex-president, I only have this to say -- be careful what you wish for, you might just get it. Recall what happened to the side that invoked this anthem during the last such conflict. I seriously doubt that the outcome would be any different this time around. As for the rendition itself, what I like about it is that it uses vintage instruments from the era, thereby giving it the authentic musical sound of the 1860s.
