I also have the same feelings towards the ending (The Feeling like, I didn't got the closure from a final chapter.But I hope the epilogue/extra chapter from the final volume release will give the closure I need. ) but I really love this manga ❤❤. Either way I'm happy that Boy's abyss got an ending.

I didn't get the ending ? What actually happened ?
@Miyukikurogane_senseiАй бұрын
@@fufu2853I explained it in the last section of the video, basically it hinted at Nagi and reiji getting hitched

Honestly this manga was depressing af

It’s the manga that left me the most confused as in I absolutely love it but also despise it. Nothing makes sense, the characters don’t make any sense, I can’t put myself in reiji’s perspective and hate every actions he takes or doesn’t take yet I want to see him and nagi to get the end the author thinks they deserve. But we never get to see it, the end isn’t bitter sweet, it’s tasteless yet incredibly bitter. Overall I still loved it but 1 extra chapter can elevate its score by 2 points

The ending most likely is the outcome of 2 possibilities. Realistically I don't think reiji and nagi can move on that easily especially from their actions, the ending might just be what the author wished what the outcome was. The other possibility is that they both went into the ocean, this ending just let's her fantasy play out in another reality that's written by her
@hitori7181Ай бұрын
@@rain-pj4xq you can’t let the people think what they want to think when the end is so underdeveloped, what I mean is that it’s like not wanting to disappoint anyone so you just make it’s as vague as possible so everyone is happy with their own interpretation of the ending. But it did the complete opposite and left it to where everyone wanted to see it end especially after 183 chapters and years of development
@rain-pj4xqАй бұрын
@@hitori7181 I mean multiple evidence in the final chapter implies the fate of the characters, but I'm just saying if you think that doesn't feel right to an ending of this kind of story. The actual endings probably just them jumping off
@hitori7181Ай бұрын
@@rain-pj4xq no what I’m saying is that the end is too underwhelming, I just wanted it to have an end whatever it is would satisfy me but having it not rushed but not even take place and just have an epilogue of 5 pages explaining 10% of what ended up happening is infuriating
@hitori7181Ай бұрын
@@rain-pj4xq it’s especially because it’s this kind of story that I want a true end to it. If it were a romcom slice of life I wouldn’t mind a vague end at all, but here this is a 183 chapter story that has no filler, every chapter is important that’s why having an abstract end annoys me

I didn't like the ending at all. This manga is one of my favorites, maybe it's my favorite, but the ending ruined everything. I would have accepted more if they had committed suicide at the end and maybe Chako had written their story, rather than an ending like this without explanations. (The scene on the bridge that gets cut doesn't make sense)
@rain-pj4xqАй бұрын
I can see why a lot of people hate on the ending, but it feels funny knowing that most of these people genuinely just want to see a depressing manga end in a depressing way without any other interpretations. Reiji definitely survived yes but it is what author wished what could have happened, the bridge scene opens up 2 possibilities and both has been achieved/happened in our world. The ending we saw is the hope and wish that the author wanted reiji to have, however realistically him and nagi probably just jumped. Doesn't make sense to as how they can move on from all of these actions they have committed and managed to work in the mountains.
