I'm surprised about Homelander asking ''Who did we save this week?''; he normally wouldn't feel the need the act like a proper hero when in the company of the Seven. I always thought that at this point in the story the rest of the Seven already knew about Homelander's questionable morality... so why would he act like this in front of them? Was it to give Starlight a good first impression? Or did he ask that question to find out which actions the Seven did that week to increase their popularity? In any case, I always adore these rare scenes where you see Homelander act like the proper heroic team leader he should be. I know it's fabricated, but he really pulls off the part well! XD

My take after watching 3 seasons is that Homelander is treating the Seven as the family that he never got growing up. That’s why when Translucent went missing for so long, he was the first to urge suspicion and get angry about it. He even went to search for Translucent himself.

I find it funny how this was a moment in the comics where Starlight had her first meeting. and noir sat next to homelander and Maeve sat on the other side of him. Jack from Jupiter complained why their pay grade is higher than everyone Elise’s and Homelander Explained that they were the big 3 basically parodying off of Superman Batman and Wonder Woman as DC’s Trinity yet in the show Noir sits all the way at the end yet he’s one of the heads in the seven 😂
