While we have some adaptations that allow us to survive hand to hand ordeals, the reality is, our methods have changed so wildly, we completely need to change our anatomy and really our own biology just to keep up. Because of this, we as a species have always sought out how to do so. Deep in the depths of Gentec, a man would be altered to do just that. You must have Norwegian ancestry. My dad used to work as a Surgical Technician at a hospital in Seattle, and he could always tell who's ancestry came from that part of Europe because on the thigh bone (I think it's called a Femur, I'm not an expert), most of the time the surgeon could make the cut they need to make with one saw blade, but on someone of Northern European descent, that same cut often required 3 blades.

Hey Roanoke, I got a recent story that is insane for human durability. I am 6'1, 320 and fairly beefcakey. I was on a hill with a Ram 1500 jacked up doing the shocks, and the jack fell. Around 2500-3000 pounds, the entire front end, got a 1 foot drop and landed squarely on my forearm. It compressed my arm to the road underneath it and I couldn't escape, but my father jacked the truck off me. I had no broken bones, but the bolt on the ball joint punched a 1.3CM deep hole until it hit my bone and stopped. I am immune to Dialudid it turns out and they flushed 6 shots of salt water up into my arm raw. Three weeks later, and I just had the packing taken out of my arm for the last time and the wound is almost over halfway closed. I have full motor control in that hand, and can already pick up 45 pounds but I stopped because it kept causing bleeding again. I got a few knots in my arm that feel like the muscle got tore and pulled back. The wound couldn't be stitched because it was a crush puncture. I got photos if you want!

Think of it as the difference between trying to staple a torn piece of paper back together, and trying to staple a hole from a holepunch closed.

Unfortunately there's only one season of it, but I think there is enough information in that season that you could make a video about the main creature from the show.
