Martha gets a bad rap, but as we dig a bit deeper into her story we see not just a heart to serve, but a brilliant woman entrusted with powerful truths given by Jesus at Lazarus's funeral. Go deeper into the character of Martha and how God is using women in a powerful role here in Israel.

Your profile name, "shekinah" is not the Holy Spirit. It comes from the zohar, and talmud, research before commiting to belief of "shekinah". I have come across evidence and documentation that ancient zoharic sages , Which would have been Jews called this "shekinah" in terms of a false spirit of divine feminine. As the sage's taught, the serpent is the wife of God. As they named it Lilith. But they refer this glory of the Holy Spirit, as equal to the wife of God? This isn't possible if the wife of God is a bride, which would be the bride of Yeshua the Son. And the bride is not a serpent, isn't it is, the Body of believers. And Yeshua is not the Serpent, but the Lamb. It mentions Yeshua as a Lamb by John in Revelation, chap 5:6. "Originating from the Hebrew root shakhan, meaning 'to dwell', the name Shekinah originated in the Onkelos Targum, an Aramaic translation of the Torah from the 1st-2nd century CE. Like other educated Jewish men, the unknown author of the Onkelos wanted to separate Yahweh from the multitude of anthropomorphic references made about him in the Torah. To do this, he introduced the Shekinah, a separate entity from Yahweh, yet one that retained the power of God. Evidence of this is found throughout the Onkelos where verses have been altered to reflect this new concept. The traditional reading of Exodus 25:8, for example, is “then have them make a sanctuary for me, and I will dwell among them.” That same passage in the Onkelos was rewritten to read, “have them make a sanctuary, and I shall send my Shekinah to dwell among them.” Again and again, the Shekinah is invoked in verses as a manifestation of Yahweh. However, at this point in her development, she is merely an aspect of the greater God. Her purpose was only to serve as a personified, visible entity that the faithful could experience in a tangible way. She is a hypostasis, an intermediary, like Wisdom before her. Within the Onkelos, no gender is ever specifically assigned to the concept of the Shekinah. But just as the name of God, Yahweh, stressed his maleness, the name Shekinah grammatically implied a feminine presence. The added -ah suffix to the Hebrew shakhan made the Shekinah, undeniably, female. No special teachings were needed to implant the idea into the minds of the Israelite that the Shekinah was a feminine aspect of the Almighty God. Every time her name was repeated, her femininity was confirmed." | ~ L M G (name protected for discretion) And God says nothing new is under the sun. Shekinah is a spirit of witchcraft that produces the divination practices, astral travel, mental projection, visions and such that come from the kabalah, Zohar, and talmud writings as well as any other form of paganism. "The shekhinah (Biblical Hebrew: שכינה‎ šekīnah; also Romanized shekina(h), schechina(h), shechina(h)) is the English transliteration of a Hebrew word meaning "dwelling" or "settling" and denotes the dwelling or settling of the divine presence of God. But it isn't an actual word used in the whole of the Canonized Scripture. This term does not occur in the Bible, and is from rabbinic literature" Hence the sage's intertwining words and dialects to create new words/meanings of multi-syllable words. Essentially it is lesser magick witchcraft, but more closer to black magicka when used to form an entire religion as the oral Torah and writings have become. But it isn't new, it is old and originates from the serpent confusing Eve, in the Garden the first woman of God. Woman is a benefit to judeoChristianity because they are faithful and have a feminine spirit to them. But the Godhead and all angels are male. It's a topic of much interest, so you should find much on it across the board.

Becoming a Proverbs 31 woman means working hard to become a woman who honors God. ... worthy of God's grace, truthful and faithful. Loving others, being good to others and praying for others. We minister to each other, we do service activity together, we have fun activities together, conference where we expound the scriptures together.... It's just powerful to see what women can accomplish together with Christ. You are doing a wonderful work and something that will impact women for good for years to come. God it's mindful of you and your needs, He will provide. I pray for you 💕

Martha went out to meet Jesus hoping to have his ear and one on one time for her desire to understand the delay in his coming to see Lazareth. I am a Martha, and struggle with that characteristic sometimes thinking it is a ball and chain or a flaw in my character. Devoting time and effort to reading Gods Word is very difficult. Many times having committed to a goal, only to find it falls by the wayside in short order. Thats why I so appreciate these videos, sermons and interviews. The gaps in my understanding are filled in.

Love the teaching on the story of Martha and Mary. I believe Yeshua has given God fearing women that mothering instinct to help others, just as much as we would help family. I remember a time in church that I got up before the pastor was finished with His semon because l wanted to get the Coffee and tea with cakes done before the sermom was finished then I hord the Holy Spirit say to me shall you be a Martha ? I immediately want back to my seat and waiting to the sermon was over. Everything turn out good anyway with the Coffee break efter the sermon was finished. I think both Martha and Mary could teach us a lot about how we also should be with Yeshua. Thank you for this week pod awesome woman to ara great teacher of the gospel 🙌 ❤

Women aren't less. Paul writes in 1 Timothy 2 that women don't teach, not to usurp the authority over men. Paul also writes in Corinthians that woman was made for man, not man for the woman. In Genesis, Moses writes that God saw that every animal had a companion but man had no one. So God made Adam a helper. When you read the Bible, over 90% of woman of figure were helpers, not authority like the prophets. There are instances like Esther (Hadassah) where God uses her for a purpose. But Esther never taught the scriptures, she never spoke in the synagogue. But God used her nonetheless. There's Rahab, a non jew, Ruth the moabite. Theres a reason why many men would think differently because the Bible has a hierarchy like system. Not a democracy.

Revival is needed for the women and men of Israel because of the power of unity. Jesus was so sensitive and tender towards women is beyond anything I have ever seen. Would it not be something if men could humble themselves before God to serve this part of the body of Christ in a better way. Perhaps the miracle of fellowship must become ultra ministries.

This is a huge blessing. I was very convicted one time when I read the account of Martha and Mary because I do, do, do and don't sit and listen. Your teaching here revealed that Jesus wasn't angry with Martha, but Mary did choose something better. On another related area, recently, I read this passage: "Then the LORD said to Moses, "Speak to the priests, the sons of Aaron, and say to them: 'No one shall defile himself for a [dead] person among his people, except for his relatives who are nearest to him, his mother, his father, his son, his daughter, and his brother, also for his virgin sister who is near to him because she has not had a husband; for her, he may defile himself. 'He shall not defile himself as a relative by marriage among his people, so as to profane himself."[Lev 21:1-4 NASB20] It dawned on me, that the priest's wife was not mentioned. I was wondering why it doesn't give the exemption for the priest's wife? Thanks!

I think too that people should read this in the context of how the culture is. If somebody is invited into the home out of respect they are going to work hard to serve as perfectly as they can. Martha is having Jesus as her guest and this was a huge deal in that sense so for her to stress out about making sure everything is prepared in the best way possible for Jesus. This was something that she thought was important to give him that reverence. She meant well by it but did not realize that Jesus does not need to be presented with anything fancy He needs you to come with a humble heart and listen and this is why He rebuked Martha. For example, I am of Middle Eastern culture and every time my mom invites guests to the house she is so consumed in serving and preparing things for everybody that she does not enjoy the actual intimacy she originally desired by having people over. She means well but she misses the point.

When it says Mary sat in on a private teaching, it means all the private teachings. Joh:1:40: One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother. Martha seems to be a representation of how it happens in churches today too. 20 % do all the work while 80% just show up. Is it possible that the real perspective that is being emphasize is that both women are serving just in different ways? There has been enough denegrating women's role in church by men that women ought not do it too. Martha served in hospitality. Mary served by sitting at Jesus feet as a disciple listening to Rabbi Jesus along with His other disciples because that what she was. Maybe we should leave it there. What is most important is Jesus view of woman in the New Testament which refutes the interpretation by some men & women that says women can't be in leadership in church or that women can't teach men when clearly the incarnate God himself said otherwise. Blessings and Shalom.

@@samuelguzman5348 The apostles were to travel to spread the word, and in those days it would have been culturally impossible for a women to travel to a strange town and start speaking in public. Women's word was not even equal in court. Jesus clearly treated women differently and I am sure would have wanted that to grow with the church and change society. But that hasn't always happened and society influenced the church.

Why it is so difficult to see The Truth? Luke 4:18 17 So the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to Jesus, and he opened the scroll and found the place where it was written: “Jehovah’s spirit is upon me, because HE ANOITED ME to declare good news to the poor. HE SENT ME to proclaim liberty to the captives and a recovery of sight to the blind, to send the crushed ones away free 19 to preach Jehovah’s acceptable year.”

I definitely agree...but at the same time I went through this phase so I really can't blame those who don't see. I read through the whole Bible 3 times and didn't see/feel anything and then one day it just "clicked". Praise the Lord. I think it's a different process for everyone. I had to go through a personal episode for the Holy Spirit to show me how everything makes sense. Still learning but in a different sense. Coming from a place of certainty now whereas it was uncertainty before.

This particular group, teaches that the Holy Spirit of God is nothing more than an "impersonal" force, contrary to Scripture, which teaches that the Holy Spirit, whom the Father sent in the name of his Son, is identified with Christ as "another comforter" (literally another of the same kind), testifies of Christ, is called God by Peter (when he confronted Ananias and Shaphira), who judges, cannot be lied to, can be grieved, speaks (such as what he spoke through Agabus concerning Paul and the Jews at Jerusalem), guides (such as preventing Paul and Timothy at that time to go into Asia), teaches... 9.20 Do you think that Martha called Mary, not to put pressure on Jesus, but so as Mary would not miss the incredible miracle that Martha in her heart had suddenly realised Jesus was going to do. Else the discourse would not have resonated at all with Martha. It shows Martha's heart and love for her sister. Maybe even Mary should have taken a moment in the earlier passage to stop and bring to Martha to hear the words that Jesus was speaking that so enthralled her. But, you are right, two truly remarkable women, made to even shine brighter, perhaps, because they were considered to be incapable of anything other than menial domestic service.

Peter said to Jesus: You are the Son of God, you are the One who had to come to the world. And Jesus said to Peter: Because you have said that, I say to you, you are Peter and over this stone I will build my Church. Almost those same words were said by Martha when her brother Lazaro had died. Jesus said to Martha: I Am the Resurrection and the Life, those who believe in Me won't die forever. And then the answer of Martha: I know that you are the Son of God, the One who had to come to the world (John's Godspell). When Jesús resurrected, it was Mary Magdalene (a woman)the first in seeing Him, according to the four Godspels. Greetings from the Basque Country.

what are you depicting about women in the west? could it be the attitude of some men in the west who still can't reconcile the truth of the scripture even out of the mouth of Jesus himself who placed women in leadership roles in the church? is this the feminism you are referencing? ...that women can't teach in the church unless they are teaching other women?
