@@kresimircosic9035 Not sure to be honest, the X900H is very well balanced this year in terms of features/image quality. Next year’s model could be better but thats not guaranteed as recently both Samsung and Sony have downgraded their tv’s in order to add more features and keep the price the same or ever lower it. The Samsung Q90T is huge downgrade from the 2019 model Q90R. The X900H can also be considered a downgrade as it no lo ger supports smooth gradation (although I’ve never had the need of smooth gradation, as my set does not suffer from banding).
@gamingtech4721

@@SerARGI you need to go to settings > display & sound > audio output. Thats where the A/V sync setting can be found. You can either set it to auto or turn it off completely to reduce the input lag.

@Stock--Rosso

@@crisscrozzmiddag9392 It uses a different algorithm to the 900e. Even though on paper it’s not quite as bright, it sustains its brightness for longer. In my opinion, it punches above it’s weight and competes with higher end sets, quite favourably. If you liked the 900e and want 2.1 features and a lightning fast interface, it’s a no brainer. One thing to note, it doesn’t have Smooth Gradation (Like the 900e) and you sometimes see more colour banding, especially in lower quality content, so read ALL THE REVIEWS. I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen ANY colour banding on my 900h, so it’s none issue for me.

Ricardo Qro i have to say I’m not a fan of the picture. All colours look very „grey“, damp. I mean I don’t expect QLED level colours (don’t like those anyway) but game mode in particular looks very mediocre. It looks VERY realistic because let’s face it - real life is pretty grey too. But i am very underwhelmed with the colours in general and in game mode in particular. I use a PS4 pro so I should be overwhelmed but I’m just not. I fear that I made a massive mistake unless I find better settings (tried those here and from another clip too but didn’t change a thing)

I love this TV but I find the expert 1 color setting to make the whites yellow in the highlights. Warm is still yellow but slightly less so and neutral actually produces the closest thing to pure whites. Not sure if that's just my particular screen but it's super easy to tell on the home screen of the tv. Watch the white netflix logo as you change the color setting between them. If this is indeed standard across all the panels I'd love for someone to explain to me how adding yellow into all your bright whites is the proper setting because I'm confused as to how others are not also seeing this.

I agree. While the warmness generally looks better to my eyes, it does bug me when something I know should be very white looks slightly yellow. Was choosing between a 55" LG CX OLED (which was about 25% more expensive) after the deal I found on this 65" XH90. I'm still really happy I went with the XH90 for the extra size at that price. No quality complaints, looks awesome to me and no more worry about burn-ins makes me very happy. The whole experience is so much better with a bigger screen. I mostly watch tvshows via streaming services (Netflix/HBO/etc), watch blu-ray movies via PS5, and some games.

Setting starts here: Auto local dimming need to be set on HIGH to get the perfect black. Also, gamma 0 on this tv = gamma 2.2 which is the correct gamma. Expert 1, Max out brightness and contrast and HIGH on X tended Dynamic range while watching hdr content. Search for a tv black test video on youtube and play it while changing the setting above.

For any HDR content the TV will adjust the best possible settings for it automatically so leave everything default when watching HDR content. For normal streaming content watching KZbin videos or other streaming services my settings are on standard (brightness 30-40) black adjust and adv contrast enhancer both OFF. auto local dimming and xtended dynamic range both HIGH. (Color 50) color temperature (neutral) Live color OFF. Reality creation AUTO. Random and digital noise reduction both OFF. CineMotion AUTO and last but not least Motionflow I put on AUTO honestly there’s no SOAP opera effect whatsoever on this model it handles it perfectly. if I leave it off the smoothness goes down noticeably when watching SDR content and streaming service. But when watching movies on Netflix and any HDR content leaving motionflow off is fine actually it will stay smooth. with these settings I’ve achieved the best possible natural picture on mine. I spent weeks debating getting this or the LG OLED CX, seeing them side by side I went for LG. The Sony is a great tv but ‘blacks are so black’ suddenly aren’t when seeing black on the OLED. Burn in is not an issue as I don’t watch sports, or any channel for more then 4 hrs max and rarely find time to game for that long either. I could have got a 65” Sony for the same price as i paid for the 55” LG but it’s for the bedroom and 55” is plenty good enough.

Carfilliot I have yeah, otherwise it would be even worse. Maybe I’m too stupid to adjust the settings appropriately but man, game mode is a huge let down. If you compare the stunning picture of standard mode to the picture of game mode, it’s like two entirely different TVSs. The first being almost high end, the second brings absolutely cheap. I don’t get it. I mean yes, maybe if you play fortnite, Fifa ultimate team or other competitive online games, game mode might be for you to improve input lag and I kind of enjoy the dull and darker colours for long sessions of online gaming (very good to the eyes, very relaxing). But if you play a game where you really want to enjoy the graphics, I feel that this TV does not deliver at all. Obviously I could switch to standard mode for games but standard mode is unusable for gaming. It can’t handle motion at all

For normal streaming content watching KZbin videos or other streaming services my settings are on standard (brightness 30 or 40) black adjust and adv contrast enhancer both OFF. auto local dimming and xtended dynamic range both HIGH. Try this and let me know if you like it

Great video, got the xh92 last week and have been tweaking but this helped a lot, especially with game mode. One quick question though, when you set up Netflix you selected the Dolby dark setting, but once you then turn on Netflix calibrated the picture setting changed to “calibrated”. Does Netflix calibrated mode override any other changes you have made to the settings for Netflix?

@@kevinrichardson2318 Might be something to do with that. Update the tv software first, go in to Netflix and start playing a video, then to find calibrated mode do the following: Settings -> Display & Sound -> Picture Netflix calibrated mode should be the 3rd option down (is on mine at least) and it is purely an “ON/OFF” option. If turned ON, it locks all other calibration Hope this helps. It really is an amazing tv once you’ve done your setting up. I’m using a PS5 on mine and it’s just blown me away with it.

The XH90 has Dolby Vision which the Q70r doesnt have plus the XH90 has HDMI 2.1 and with that you have VRR which leads to XH90 being superior in both picturewise and gamewise...
@TJ.1
@TJ.1 3 жыл бұрын
Zaezel the q70r is better in everything than the x90h. More dimming zones, higher brightness, better viewing angles, better input lag, better HDR, and so on. The Q80T(2020) is an updated Q70R(2019) , however the sony X90H has hdmi 2.1 that can process 4k@120 for PS5 and Xbox ser X. If you will game on ps4 the q70r is superior to the x90h. The sony x90h is the cheapest (top brands as samsung lg panasonic) that can play 4k@120. Yoy compromise little dimming zomes and some badging for the gaming for next gen consoles, if money wasn’t an issue for you, and you really want to game 4k@120 then get the Q80T, Q90T, or the Oled LG CX. If i was you i will not buy a TV now , i will wait atleast untill PS5 and Xbox ser X will have games that will run 4k@120, your q70r is wonderful and will play 4k@60 which almost all 2021 games will run at.or even lower 2k@60, 4k@30 and so on.

@@TJ.1 I think you don´t now what you are talking about. The Samsung Q70R has no Dolby Vision, has no hdmi 2.1, response time is same, input lag is same, no VRR, no eARC and has only 4% more brightness... The Xh90 wins this when it comes to a mix of Gaming and watching series and movies... For people who actually are more of the movie guy the Q70r is the better choice but for gaming and watching movies the xh90 wins.

@@TJ.1 it is not. Peak brightness in hdr is very similar or even an inch better on the Sony. It just looks more vibtant and less flat conpared to the Sammy. Contrast is higher on the 70r but on the other hand the local dimming is not as good. This is 32 vs 50 zones but in the end the better dimming make the difference Deeper black with more uniform picture and lees blooming is a win for the Sony.
