I met Davey boy a few times back in the 90's at t'gym. First time I couldn't believe it, he was so wide. Like a fridge with legs. The gym was owned by a professionally, successful bodybuilder who was big himself, it was an old skool gym; I was used to seeing big blokes in there. But Davey was unreal, like a lifesize He-man doll.

@@tylerheldmann1 There wasnt much about Dynamites routine out there, and i highly doubt that he got his huge legs from the 600 hindu squats alone. My best guess is that he did something similar like Davey Boy, since they trained most of the time together. 530 is a decent estimate for Davey’s bench 1RM. I always heard up to 550 - believable considering how massive he got in the early 90s when he was feuding with the Warlord - around 270lbs legit at 5’9” or so. Apparently he maxed out at around 500lbs on deadlift because of a nasty back injury - never went heavier than that

I work as a Strength and conditioning coach here in Tokyo with pro wrestlers (when I am not making my little videos here).
