Just finished listening to the book yesterday and I have to respectfully disagree. I thought the book was great. I understand that I had a different experience listening to the book vs reading it. It was great to hear old Teddy head of the CIA back in action. Last time I heard of him it was in another John Grisham’s books “The Brethren.” All and all really love all of John Grisham’s books. Also I appreciate this video and review. Thank you.

I personally love the book it was fascinating had me on the edge of my seat and if you didn't sign up for it don't read the book or read the jacket cover and see if you like it if not if not your cup of tea go ahead but he's done Gresham who are you how many books how many number one sellers have you written I've never heard of you

The book is about an American in a situation most Americans avoid all their lives: learning a foreign language - and trying to be inconspicuous as soon as possible. That means listening to said language and making sense of it. I found those Italian-English sequences quite interesting as I speak some Spanish and Portuguese but only very little Italian - but then, I appreciate languages...
