Sunday 1/7/24 loss to Portland ignited me to change my team and start rooting AGAINST them. The Spurs have a much better future ahead over the Nets.

Team USA helped everybody improve except for Mikal and Kessler. Mikal is so disappointing after showing that all-nba potential after he was traded. He just had a Linsanity moment. They really rejected Green plus THEIR own picks. Lol definitely overvalued.

I have no connection to this team BUT they have Mikal Bridges, Nic Claxton, Dorian Finney-Smith, Cameron Johnson and Cam Thomas. Those guys are good talent! This team gets 1 big signing and they can start to compete. Titles? No but they have talent and are far from being the worst team in the league. Mikal and Cameron Johnson and Nic Claxton can get better and Cam Thomas is a great 6th man.

Mike makes it sound like Marks was helpless to all of Kyries demands. First off, the Nets were no where near a championship team prior to the stars. They had just rebuilt after being devastated from the Pierce and KG trade. Marks/Tsai deferred to Ky/KD because these guys have actually won it all. It’s the same thing that the Cavs did during LeBrons 2nd stint. And Marks didn’t make some kind of stand against Kyrie’s anti vax stance, they were pressuring him until they realized they needed him to win on the road at least. It was Marks and Tsai that panic traded for Harden because they got spooked Kyrie was an unstable person, rather than work with him and build trust like the Cavs and now Mavs had done. Then the Nets panic sold for Ben Simmons. And that’s besides the years long debacle of signing a rookie HC in Nash, then during JVs stint he kept promoting him after short stretches simply because they were trying to ride the feel good waves without a proper basketball evaluation and plan. Marks been fumbling his way for years and he has the boogey man Kyrie that’s being scapegoated for everything Marks even got the chance to get multiple frp‘S for Doe and Mikal plus Green and he balked. How does this guy deserve to keep his job?

The Nets did the right thing by not trading for Jalen Green. I think Mikal Bridges is better than he shows. He just doesn't want to play in Brooklyn. The nets got rid of their vets last season and that is the main problem. Not Ben Simmons. The Nets could use a better coach too. Leadership is what is lacking. FlightMike doesn't know what he is talking about. Jalen Green is still about 3 or 4 years away from being the player he thinks he is. The man is all about himself.
