I like this and I get it as a seasoned stylist. But for new stylists, I would tell them to cut the base line first as a guide, whether it be a square line or a round line - then show how to disconnect/layer into the base line from the bottom to the top. I’ve had clients come to me bc the hair felt like “nothing/too whispy” on the bottom bc they followed tutorials like this verbatim

Sorry but that hair style is awful.. I have seen better Butterfly cuts being done. Tutorial you gave was very guided but how that cut looks styled on the maniquine is truly bad. It looks a mess to be honest. Look at it..😮
