She is a flashy girl, for sure. I noticed her kind eye too. Even when she was in the stall and scared, her eye was still soft. She's genuine. It's a shame Diablo had been handled, really. As he learned bad manners. Yes he is young and can be taught manners. But it's harder to undo something than it is to teach it properly to begin with. He's a beautiful boy and will make a nice horse for someone. Not every horse is for everybody. You have to have a connection. Thank you for this video. The breeders have beautiful horses, no doubt about it. I think they're a little lax with the horses. I'm glad you have little Bella. She's looking wonderful. ❤❤❤

That was really interesting to see. It had been a hard watch originally, she was so scared but she’s coming on well. Responding to gentleness and sympathetic firmness. Considering how poorly she was raised it’s a blessing that there doesn’t seem to be a nasty or viscous bone in her body. I think you’re doing everything really well and I’m looking forward to seeing more of her progress. I was astonished to hear the colt wasn’t even weaned. Poor animal. I guess they read these comments. I hope they are ashamed of the way they treat their animals.

I noticed several things immediately. She's grown, a lot. She's filling out nicely, and she's trusting you very well. Showing her equine dominance immediately with Diablo. Yes, she does have a kind eye. She's pretty now, gonna be a stunner when full grown. Be proud of what you've done with her in such a short time.

I truly enjoyed the 'history' of how Bella came to you. Being a newer subscriber, I'm trying to catch up on older posts so that I have better knowledge of your horses backgrounds. Everytime I watch one of your videos I seem to learn something. Being 75 I'll not ever 'use' the things I learn, but I've been a horse lover, never an owner :( all my life. I agree that kind eye in a horse is important. She is also bonding with you and is interested in you being around. She also likes Ren's soft voice. Is Bella letting you brush or groom her yet? It is just so sad that she basically missed a year of loving pets and care. She will do well under you soft but consistent approach. Her body looks 100% better in weight and condition since her arrival. Since she has been outside all her life I wonder if that could be small spots of fungus or rain rot that she got. Would love to know what the vet thinks it might be. I had a yearling foal that I rescued years ago who's back and body had huge spots of rain rot. After the fungus was killed I was told to use vitamin E oil. I put it on 2 times a day and all the hair grew back with no color change and no scaring at all. It us a great idea to do separate videos of Bella's development and training. I am in Florida, USA. Love your videos of you horses.

@@mdee860 Ocala FL is a big horse area not just for thoroughbreds race horses but for hunter jumpers, dressage, cross country, driving, all breeds. It has many trails and several large venues now for shows and training.

I thought Bella was older than Diablo by several months , she just acts more mature than him , and she will be easier to train being wild , rather than spoiled for sure . Love this, yes, please!! Bella is stunning and she seems to change every video. I still don't understand them not working with her from birth. I was talking to a woman today --she does Masterson body work which my gelding loves--and she was telling me she has a 3 month old filly that need lots of handling and how negligent it is to let it go even that far. Well, you and Rens with take care of that!

I enjoyed the extra video about Bella. She is a sweet filly. I can see why you liked her from the video. She moves beautifully and has a look at me factor. I also like forward going horses after having ridden Arabians and thoroughbreds in my youth. I don't think Diablo would have been a good fit with your herd. I think he would have caused problems and would have been disciplined by Apollo. I also think he would have challenged Apollo as he grew older for leadership and he would have fought with Farouk and bullied the filly. He is better off running with youngsters learning social graces while he matures more mentally. A good wash in betadine would most likely clear up those spots on Bella if it is fungal/bacterial however because she has remained largely unhandled for much of her early life this is not yet possible. Beautiful filly very engaging with equines and now with her humans. I love how she talks to you with her little whinny's.

Oh ek Tara! ...I've just closed the door on our two rescue hens... happy on their perch, completely zonked out as is natural for them at night and safe from any predators. I was just about thinking of turning my phone off to chill with Charles, my purring elderly rescue cat cuddled to my side, feet up with my current book, a nice glass of gin and tonic and some scented candles. Annual leave for me this week... no poorly covid patients for me to try to give positive support and compassionate care to help them through their trauma. I'm ready for a rest, but would go bac in a heartbeat if needed. Your extra post of Bella was SO unexpected and, as i said, I was getting ready to settle for the evening. At first I thought... hav I missed a post. Then realised it was a bonus video! 😊

I live in Washington State USA on the southwest tip on the ocean. Your videos have been an oasis for me during this silly covid time. The difference between her look on arrival and her appearance now! It's very obvious how well she's been doing since she arrived! She's much rounder now! As for Diablo, I remember the video you uploaded in which they are together in the paddock for the first time (if I remember well) and one of Diablo's reflexes is to try and check between her thighs like a foal would do for meal time. Of course, Bella immediately warned him that she wasn't ok with that and he complied. But he did that and my first thought was "oh is he acting like a foal towards her???"
