I love the idea as well. I just got my parcels today (berry!) and was shocked that they don't stand up on their own. Mine also came with some tiny scuffs. If the price wasn't so high I wouldn't complain about the price, but these are going back. Started hunting for reviews bc instagram didn't produce much. I really hope they can get it right in v2 because this is an amazing idea!

Totally agree with your points! I was shocked that they launched a new color so quickly, it's not my favorite but I think berry looks better than the default beige.

Making a new product is a crazy process. Making a successful one is a miracle. That being said, I thought that the choice of clear TPU had a reason, likely compliance with all international airport regulations. If the clear plastic was chosen solely for the aesthetics (or showing off the capsule collection at TSA check point), it's just a bad choice. It's still good looking while new. But there are many other better looking materials for Dopp kits that age much more gracefully, from leather and waxed canvas to newer recycled fabrics that have lightweight benefits on the side. Clear plastic bag is not most people's first choice, unless there's a great reason.

I appreciate your review. It also makes me wonder who really is the target audience for Cadence's products. I imagine perhaps a professional who travels more than average and has the money to spend on something like this. My partner travels so frequently that they would not bother to refill their products all the time (usually they forget, run out, or buy extra there). I only travel probably 2-3x via plane and a few times a year via car/train for weekend trips. Cadence products would take me years to pay off in terms of use. I think the carry-on/liquids limit has also really limited the material that companies make toiletry bags out of (mostly clear vinyl now) and it's really a limiting material. Like you said, it gets dirty fast and doesn't have much structure. I'm tempted to go back to my old LL Bean hanging bag from summer camp if I'm honest. I'm glad the algorithm showed me your channel, I'll take a look at more. Being a small creator is tough!

Wow thanks for such a thoughtful reply! I agree with you, I think Cadence has some really interesting ideas but the cost is going to prevent them from growing. Unfortunately, in this world you have to grow to be able to bring costs down. I am still using the parcels but I am not sure if I will in the long term.

The cost of this parcel system is... NOT it.. I'd love to see what's *in* your toiletry bags, with quick reviews of the products. I'm curious of your thoughts on the Prequel serum, for example. Also, your hair looks great in this video. What pomade/wax are you using?

Great video idea I will work on that one soon since I have been using them a ton! I use the SexyHair Big Creme 2 Powder Play, it is the best hair product I have ever used.

I’m struggling to see the value in these pouches. They don’t seem to measure up to what’s already available on the market. I own a Calpak cosmetic case and a few Truffle cases, and those do an excellent job of keeping my cosmetics and Cadence capsules (which I absolutely love) organized. I do admire Cadence’s ambition in designing a new cosmetic case but it seems they’ve missed the mark. Hopefully they can make some improvements over time (like they did with the capsules)! Lovely review btw! Your rainbow assortment of capsules is making me want to get a few in other colors since all of mine are in petal 😅.

I keep seeing the Calpak case all over the internet right now! Seems like really tough competition since the price is so much better for the size!
